Grandison has a smooth-sailing jump shot already in his first season. He has great range and can hit any three-point shot standing in his way. Grandison standing at 6’5″ can also play in the post and put a body on defenders with a toolbox full of moves down low. His ability to put the ball on the floor is impressive as he can finish through contact with little to no hesitation.
Avent can do just about everything on the court. He is a high-energy athletic player at the small forward position that can go block shots and jump over defenders for dunks and tough finishes. He has a good-looking shot from three which helps spread the floor out for those open looks. At 6’6″ Avent can guard every position and switch onto anyone while being able to crash down in the paint for rebounds.
Highlights
Nayar has deep range and shoots with full confidence from that area. His tight and shifty handles allow him to get wherever he wants to on the court and get any shot he feels he needs to get. Nayar likes to play fast and push the pace in transition to get easy buckets for not only himself but his teammates too. A good defender already Nayar can move laterally on the perimeter well and strip the ball away from ball handlers.
Highlights
Smith is an excellent two-way player with the potential to only go up with more opportunities. A lefty with a smooth shot Smith likes to use that to shoot from three with his range increasing the more he makes throughout a game. Smith also likes to play fast in the transition setting and can even hit both the pull-up three and midrange shot. Smith is already an elite defender that can move his feet and strip the ball away or pick off passes at a high level.
Cameron is a defensive-minded first guard that has a high motor and plays with a lot of intensity. He will and wants to guard the other team’s best perimeter player every game and will never give up on a play. Cameron likes to gamble and go after passing lanes or pickpocket the ball from behind. He can shoot respectably from three while also getting to the rim. I see Cameron being a fine two-way player next season.
