Basketball has become more competitive than ever, and Big Shots is a place where players can become more skilled in their craft. The players listed in this article were mentioned as all-stars during the tournament they played in and showed how playing in an environment such as Big Shots were beneficial to their overall game.
Coby Dillon Coby Dillon 5’10” | CG Woodrow Wilson | 2026 State WV is a young basketball player for the Club West Virginia Court Kings. Dillon is an intelligent basketball player that plays well above his age when on the court. He is quick and finishes well at the rim. Dillon is extremely accurate from 3 pt range and can also hit the mid-range shot. Dillon can defend multiple positions and is a rising player in the state of West Virginia. Dillon doesn’t graduate till 2026 but he will be a player that we aim to keep an eye on at Prep Hoops.

Trevan Bonner Trevan Bonner 6’0″ | CG Tucker County | 2025 State WV is a combo guard for Tucker County High School in Hambleton, West Virginia. Bonner played in Big Shots, and it certainly helped him improve his game. Bonner is a quick and elusive guard that finishes at the hole well and can score from all 3 levels on the court. Bonner played in Big Shots and never backed away from the elite talent on the floor. Bonner has quick feet and moves them well to keep the offensive player in front of him. In only 15 games of action, Bonner averaged 13.6 points per game, 1.5 assists per game, 2.1 rebounds per game, 1.4 steals per game and 0.1 blocks per game. With hopefully more minutes and games to play during this coming season, it will be interesting to see what numbers Bonner will produce for Tucker County.
Cole Lambert Cole Lambert 6'0" | SG Wyoming East | 2024 State WV
Cole Lambert Cole Lambert 6'0" | SG Wyoming East | 2024 State WV
Cole Lambert Cole Lambert 6’0″ | SG Wyoming East | 2024 State WV is a 5’7″ point guard from Wyoming East in West Virginia. Lambert is a quick guard that didn’t get much play for his team this past season. Lambert only played in 3 games and averaged 9 points per game. Lambert played in Big Shots for his club West Virginia Crossover. Big Shots helped him gain confidence and with hopefully more playing time this coming season, he will be able to contribute to his team’s success on the court. Lambert despite his size is not afraid to attack the paint and score at the rim over bigs. Lambert is an intelligent player that finds the open man and makes smart decisions when he is on the court. Hopefully Lambert gets more minutes and games under his belt so we can see his numbers jump this coming season.
Maki Cary Maki Cary 5’10” | PG Teays Valley Christian | 2025 State WV is a 5’11” point guard from Huntington Prep high school in West Virginia. Cary is a versatile and elusive guard that can score the ball and gets to the rim with ease. Cary played for AAU WV Gold in the Big Shot tournament and was one of the best guards on the court. Cary is not only elusive, but he can penetrate and pass the ball also. He is a smart player that has a high basketball IQ. Cary is one of the players to watch in the state of West Virginia and will look to lead his team on the court this coming season.
Charlie Reardon
Charlie Reardon
Charlie Reardon is a 5’3″ point guard that played in Big Shots and was a fiery competitor that had a true desire to be the best. Reardon being undersized didn’t stop him from competing at a high level. He has great handles and can get to the rim with ease. Reardon can shoot the ball scoring consistently at all 3 levels on the court. Whether off the dribble or catch and shoot, Reardon is able to shoot with great accuracy. I feel his competitive nature will only benefit him and his will to win will be on full display every time he steps on a court. We are excited to see what Reardon can bring to the floor this upcoming season.
