Jalen Maldonado Jalen Maldonado 6'2" | CG Roselle Catholic | 2026 State NJ , 6’2 CG Roselle Catholic
Maldonado has the potential to rise up the rankings as he should have the ball in his hands more in the AAU season. The 6’2 guard has a good handle, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finish around the rim. Maldonado has a nice touch on his floater and can knock down open jumpers on the perimeter. He has the ability to play off the well and moves his feet well on the defensive end. Maldonado is a skilled guard prospect who has the potential to breakout this spring and summer.
Micah Pierce Micah Pierce 6'3" | SG Paterson Kennedy | 2026 State NJ , 6’3 SG Paterson Kennedy
Pierce had a solid debut season for the Knights and it should carry over into the AAU season. The 6’3 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can knock down jumpers from distance in bunches. Pierce is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and get to the rim. He is a strong rebounder and makes plays on the defensive end. Pierce is a sharpshooting guard prospect, whose ability to defend on the perimeter will help his stock in a big way over the next couple of months.
Ethan Lin Ethan Lin 6'3" | PG Montgomery | 2026 State NJ , 6’3 PG Montgomery
Lin is set to have a big AAU season after leading the Cougars in scoring in his first varsity season. The 6’3 guard has a nice handle, which he uses to get to the rim and can finish through contact. Lin rarely gets rattled by on-ball pressure and shoots the ball with confidence on his jumper. He knows how to get his teammates involved in the half court and is an underrated defender. Lin is a scoring lead guard prospect who will only continue to grow his game in the spring and summer.
Woo Cannon Woo Cannon 6'3" | SG Hamilton West | 2026 State NJ , 6’3 SG Hamilton West
Cannon is a guard prospect to track this spring and summer as he should be making plays all AAU season. The 6’3 guard knows how to get to his spot on the floor and is able to draw contact in the paint. Cannon is a good finisher around the basket and wastes little motion in his jumper. He has the ability to run the offense in a pinch and has the potential to defend multiple positions on the floor. Cannon is a two-way guard prospect who should get more touches on the offensive end during the AAU season.
Zaim Barnes Zaim Barnes 5'10" | PG Shabazz | 2026 State NJ , 5’10 PG Science Park
Barnes is an intriguing guard prospect in the 2026 class as he is dynamic with the ball in his hands. The 5’10 guard has a lightning quick first step and a tight handle, which he uses to blow by his defender off the bounce. Barnes is a crafty finisher around the rim and has a nice touch on his jumper. He can thread passes to teammates in the half court and gets deflections on the defensive end. Barnes is a shifty lead guard prospect who will make plays at both ends of the floor throughout the AAU season.
