Zion Gross Zion Gross 6'3" | SG Joliet West | 2025 State IL 2025 6’4 Crete Monee HS:
Zion was the most impressive player that I evaluated at the camp. The 6’4 wing showed all of the skill sets that you would look for in a prototype wing for the next level. Has great size for the position and possesses a dynamic combination of being a knock down shooter as well as a fluid ball handler. Consistently made shots off the catch as well as off the dribble. In transition he threw down several dunks, proving to be a plus athlete. A name to definitely track, as he has next level tools and skill sets!
Ross Robertson 2025 6’8 F South Beloit HS:
Ross is a physical specimen, who dominated on the interior. He was arguably the best rebounder in the camp. What impressed me most was his instincts to react and rebound outside of his area. He has good hands and finished well around the rim. Ross also showed capabilities as a ball handler, often times pushing the break off of his rebounds and making sound decisions. This is something that has been added to his repertoire since I last evaluated him.
Donte Montgomery Donte Montgomery 6'2" | SG Oak Lawn | 2025 State IL 2025 6’1 PG Oak Lawn HS:
Donte is in the discussion of the most underrated players in his class. He is one of the more highly skilled point guards in 2025. At the camp those skills were on full display. He consistently facilitated offense for his team all day. He knocked down several threes, broke down defenders and finished in the paint. He also facilitated well for his teammates. He is the prototype “New Age Point Guard,” He is a point guard who can SCORE! I was impressed at how crafty he was getting to his spots on the floor, which is advanced for a player his age. Adding size would take his game to the next level, but the talent is definitely there!
Jaylen Ingram 2025 6’6 F Hillcrest HS:
Jaylen continues to improve each time I see him. The 6’6 F was very active on the glass. He and Ross Robertson led the way in that department at the camp. With the graduation of Darrion Baker Darrion Baker 6'8" | PF St Rita | 2023 State #227 Nation IL and Quentin Heady Quentin Heady 6'5" | SF Hillcrest | 2023 State IL , Jaylen figures to have an expanded role for Hillcrest next season. Love his ability to run the floor for a young forward. As he improves his ability to score in the post it could catapult him up the rankings in his class. What was a pleasant surprise is that he displayed a soft shooting touch, stepping away making a few jump shots and even knocked a three point shot.
Darien Green 2025 6’2 Pg Christ the King HS:
Darien is a physically built point guard who really impressed me at the camp. He was virtually unstoppable getting downhill against smaller guards. He is effective at changing pace to get by defenders for an array of finishes and pull up jumpers. Showed the ability to shoot the three as well. Often times players struggle with the physicality of going to the next level. Darien has the size and physicality that translates to the next level. He is definitely a stock riser who can hold his own against the top in his class.
Trey Bost 2026 5’10 Pg Bolingbrook HS:
Next in line of really talented point guards that appear to consistently come through Bolingbrook. Trey showed a combination of burst with the ball, scoring ability, and sound decision making. His quickness is what stood out to me for a Freshman guard. Someone who will become an intricate component to Bolingbrook sooner rather than later.
