MN Prospect Camp: Underclassman Wing/Forward Standouts

At 6'6 with long arms, a sturdy frame, quick feet, and some pop around the basket, Micah has the physical tools that you don't often see on a high school prospect, let alone just a sophomore. He used that to catch in deep post position and just power his way up to finish, while also throwing down a number of transition dunks. Micah isn't just a paint threat though, as he can handle it well at his size, and has the ability to take smaller wings off the dribble and get to the basket. Nice looking shot from three as well. He put that length to use on the defensive end tipping some passes and blocking a shot early on in the game. Has the skillset to take a defensive rebound and then push the ball on his own. Ryker had success getting to the basket and finishing with his left hand, and also showcased a nice turnaround jumper from the post. He earned those opportunities with some hard cuts off the ball. Had some nice drives from the perimeter showing he can change directions off the dribble and just work his way to the basket. He has the type of strength that is tough to match, allowing him to just power his way into deep post position and go up to finish. I watched him in the opening game of the day where he showcased a smooth three point stroke off the catch, while also creating scoring opportunities off the dribble. Has a quick crossover at his size, and the coordination to beat his man off the dribble and then finish off one or two feet. At 6'4 he has a strong frame, and is very skilled at his size. Cook acted as a bit of a point forward at times, taking defensive rebounds and initiating the break on his own, occasionally going coast-to-coast. Changes directions really well off the dribble and showcased excellent touch off the glass to finish in traffic. Webster does a nice job of playing under control, and not rushing when he gets touches on the block. Wasn't trying to force up bad shots around the rim like a lot of young bigs do just because they have a size advantage, and instead was taking his good looks but if the defense collapsed he was able to kick it back out. He has a long and lanky frame at 6'5, and is a solid athlete at that size. Had a couple of putback buckets where he seemingly came out of nowhere to come and tip in a teammate's missed shot. Those plays showcased the type of quick burst, effort, and body control that the sophomore forward possesses.
