His varsity experience at the AAAA level was visible as even in a camp setting with a lot of iso ball, he was making smart plays and taking high percentage shots. He was hitting the three ball at a high percentage off the catch, including a deep one from the top of the key. Finished in a variety of ways at the rim as well. Handled the ball with composure under pressure, able to split through traps and get his team going towards the basket with numbers.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1560868"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Not sure there was a better scorer in the underclassman session than Joseph. As a freshman at Apple Valley he put up 15 ppg playing varsity ball, and was getting any shot he wanted to on Sunday. He's already a three level scoring threat as he has deep range, can get into his mid-range shot off the dribble, and finished with either hand attacking the basket. Was so good at reading his defender's body to know which angle to attack at. Isn't the biggest guard and isn't going to jump out of the gym for explosive finishes, but he's such a crafty player with an advanced feel for the game. I already knew he could get buckets, but his improvements as a playmaker stood out. He was recognizing where extra defenders were sliding in from, and was then able to kick it out to open shooters or dump it to one of his bigs off the drive.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1574228"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"I first saw Carter as an 8th grader heading into his freshman year, and even then he looked the part of a mature floor general. He's a tough defender, handles it under pressure with poise, and can get a bucket or run the offense depending on what's asked of him. On Sunday he was excelling as a scorer, finishing with 23 and 25 points in two of his games. STMA has a promising group of young players, and Carter will be one of the guards they look to build around for these next two seasons.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1574216"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Azayah is one of the more intriguing guards in the 2025 class. He's a long and lanky player, and is one of the fastest sophomores I've seen this year. Defensviely he was flying all over trying to make plays, and often it seemed like he was in multiple places at once. On the offensive end he had some nice assists to his forwards cutting to the rim, and is a gifted shot creator with a lightning quick crossover. Azayah was at his best getting out in transition, as he can beat players up the floor with his speed, but also does a nice job of keeping his head up and looking to pass it ahead for easy lay-ups.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1617779"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Speaking of speed, Marquivion was one of the quickest players I saw all winter, and that quickness once again stood out on Sunday. His ability to go from 0-60 in the blink of an eye was allowing him to blow by defenders and get to the rim off the dribble. Any time he saw a gap, he was able to capitalize and get off high percentage shots around the rim. Even though he's often the smallest player on the floor, he's such a crafty finisher who can extend away from his body and lay it off the glass from a variety of angles to finish over height. Nice showing from the Woodbury guard.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["1288770"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"JJ is a big time shot maker who was hitting some tough shots on Sunday. The lefty guard is a knockdown shooter from three, and has no problem hitting pull-up jumpers with a hand right in his face. Sullivan was scoring from mid-range and three, and also had a nice hesitation move leading to a soft finish inside. Once everyone realizes he's a shooter, he does a great job of getting his man in the air with a shot fake and then looking to get into the paint to create for himself or others.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_6_player_details_player_name":"Matthew Pearson","_player_evaluations_6_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_6_player_details_graduating_class":"2025","_player_evaluations_6_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_6_player_details_height":"6'1u0022","_player_evaluations_6_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_6_player_details_position":"77248","_player_evaluations_6_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_6_player_details_school":"Mankato East","_player_evaluations_6_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_6_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_6_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_6_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_6_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"Pearson impressed as a shooter in his opening game of the event on Sunday. The Mankato East prospect was putting himself in spots off the ball to catch and shoot in one smooth motion before his man could close out on him. Pearson knocked down five 3's in that game to catch our eyes as a shooter to watch moving forward.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":7,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6418d101b0658"} /-->
