<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>These are the type of players every good team needs to be successful. The ones who aren't always the best or most talented on their team but just as important. He shot the ball well from three, adding another dimension to his game as an athletic slashing type guard. He and his brother [player_tooltip player_id='1451035' first='Avi' last='West'] were tough to handle on the perimeter, taking turns leading the team in scoring. Both are back next season with Asher being a junior this year and Avi a Sophomore. He had 16 points and 8 rebounds in the semi-final win over Burbank, and 14 and 10 in the quarterfinal win over Northwest Christian. Although he only scored 4 points in the championship game, he was again a factor on the boards with 11. He patrolled the key and made some nice turn-around jumpers, showing a soft touch. He is long and played big for Davenport. He played his role well alongside tournament MVP [player_tooltip player_id='1416280' first='Tennessee' last='Rainwater'], and point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1821320' first='Brenick' last='Soliday']. He was huge for this team all season long, providing toughness and athleticism. He was a terror on the defensive end, often playing at the top of the extended half-court pressure that gave other teams trouble. He had big games in the district, including a 28-point game. You could consider him a glue guy but he was so good at his role that he turned it into a 1st team all-league selection and was the heart and soul of what MWP did. With [player_tooltip player_id='1416730' first='Josh' last='Salguero'] being the focus of the defense most nights, Hazen not so quietly took over games and in the end helped MWP to a 4th-place finish in Spokane.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"Hunter Dinkins ","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"2023","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"6'0u0022","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"77246","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"Lind- Ritzville ","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":". He was great in the 1st round game vs Adna. He hit some huge shots that helped put LRS into the quarterfinals. He had 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists in the upset win over MWP, sending his team into the semi-finals vs Brewster. Although they lost their next two and didn't make the trophy round, it was still a great run for a 9 seed that was better than the seed suggests. He didn't shoot it much in the final two games but he was a player who had to be on the floor with that leadership.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_4_player_details_player_name":"Chase Clark ","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_4_player_details_graduating_class":"2023","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_4_player_details_height":"6'3u0022","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_4_player_details_position":"77247","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_4_player_details_school":"Lake Roosevelt ","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_4_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_4_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_4_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"He opened with 18 points and 5 rebounds in a loss to Burbank.
