Drake Powell Drake Powell 6’6″ | CG Northwood | 2024 State #8 Nation NC kicks off the latest update at the top spot in the 2024 class in the state. He led Northwood High to the state finals while averaging 18.6 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 3.9 apg, 1.4 spg and 1.2 bpg, showing off his development as an all-around guard in the backcourt for one of the top 3A teams in the state. He’s a prospect headed to North Carolina that’s set to excite fans for years to come. He also shot 57 percent from the field and and 38 percent from behind the arc in his junior campaign. Look for him to turn a corner in his final summer on the grassroots scene and headed into his senior season with the Chargers.

Isaiah Evans Isaiah Evans 6’6″ | SG North Mecklenburg | 2024 State #17 Nation NC moves from No. 8 into the second spot in the 2024 rankings, on the heels of UNC commit Drake Powell Drake Powell 6’6″ | CG Northwood | 2024 State #8 Nation NC . He was quite the impressive prospect on both ends of the floor this season for the North Mecklenburg Vikings as they went 29-3 on the season and 12-1 in the Queen City Athletic Conference in 2022-23 as he earned a first-team nod on this year’s 704 All-Area squad. One of his most notable moments of the season was his 62 point performance against JL Chambers in a 3OT thriller in which he also hit game-tying 3-pointers to send the game to double and triple overtime. He’s an impact prospect set to run with The Skill Factory (GA) this summer on the EYBL circuit. He can knock down shots on perimeter at volume and is slowly finding ways to use his length on the defensive end.
Bishop Boswell Bishop Boswell 6’4″ | PG Myers Park | 2024 State #68 Nation NC is one of the biggest movers into the Top 10 following a strong season in the Myers Park High rotation in their trek to a NCHSAA 4A State Title victory over Richmond Senior High. He’s another name that earned first-team honors on the 704 All-Area team this season. He led the Mustangs with 5.3 apg to go along with 12.0 ppg, 4.3 rpg and 1.7 spg. He really put his foot on the gas in the final victory with 22 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals to lead the charge. He’s an aggressive floor general that continues to show his growth against high-level competition in an efficient way. He shot 7-of-10 from the field and 2-of- 3 from behind the arc in the state championship. He’s a solid decision-maker with the ball in his hands that’s set to grow this summer with Team CP3 on the EYBL stage.
Winston-Salem Christian point guard Kobe George Kobe George 6’3″ | PG Winston-Salem Christian | 2023 #213 Nation NC moves into the fourth spot in the Top 10 of the 2024 rankings. The Lions finished with a record of 39-5 this past season, dropping the HoopState Championship 65-61 to repeat winner Combine Academy to conclude their 2022-23 campaign. George is a floor general that sets the tone with his ability to defend full court at a high level. He knows how to run the show and make his presence felt without having to score a lot of points. Look for stock to grow this spring/summer with Garner Road 3SSB.
Sir Mohammed Sir Mohammed 6’6″ | SG Myers Park | 2024 State #83 Nation NC moves into the fifth spot with the latest movement in the Top 10 of a talented 2024 class in the state. He’s another backcourt name to keep an eye on at Myers Park High alongside Bishop Boswell Bishop Boswell 6’4″ | PG Myers Park | 2024 State #68 Nation NC . He finished second on the squad in assists per game (4.9) and dished out three of them in their championship victory over Richmond Senior High. He doesn’t force things and does well to use his length in a variety of ways on the floor. He also produced 13.5 ppg, 5.3 rpg and 1.9 spg while shooting 44 percent from the floor and 33 percent from 3-point land on the season.
Rakease Passmore Rakease Passmore 6’6″ | SF Combine Academy | 2024 State #50 Nation NC cools off a bit in the latest rankings update, moving into the No. 6 spot in the 2024 class. He’s easily the most athletic prospect in the 2024 class and is beginning to show off his ability to shoot the ball. He shot 51 percent from the field and 38 percent from the field while posting 13.9 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 2.7 apg and 1.5 spg for Combine Academy as they finished the season with a 37-5 record and another crown in the HoopState Championship to cap off the year. Passmore is another name set to grow in the 3SSB scene with offers already from the likes of NC State, Tennessee, Houston, Auburn, among other high-major schools.
Austin Swartz Austin Swartz 6’5″ | SG Cannon | 2024 State #40 Nation NC is probably the biggest mover into the Top 10 in the 2024 rankings following a productive season at Cannon School in 2022-23. He’s a prospect that’s become a bigger priority on the recruiting trial given his size (6’5) and ability to handle ball pressure and create shots off the bounce. He’s a smooth operator off the bounce that can create on all three levels. He’s another member of the 704 All-Area squad (First Team) that was announced on Monday that finds himself in the Top 10 of the latest update. He’ll be running with Boo Williams on the EYBL circuit this grassroots season.

Jarin Stevenson Jarin Stevenson 6’8″ | SF Seaforth | 2024 #14 Nation NC moves from No. 11 into the Top 10 into the eighth spot in the 2024 rankings following a productive Year 2 at Seaforth High. The Hawks showed their growth with an 18-9 record and 11-1 performance in the Mid-Carolina Conference with Stevenson leading the charge for them with 21.5 ppg, 11.6 rpg, 3.7 bpg, 2.7 apg and 1.8 spg on 60 percent shooting from the field and 34 percent shooting from 3-point range. He’s another national name to keep an eye on out of the state of North Carolina that’s also gaining heavy interest from the UNC coaching staff. He’ll suit up for Team United on the EYBL circuit this grassroots cycle.
Jayden Harris Jayden Harris 6’6″ | SG Salisbury | 2024 State #220 Nation NC is one of the top shooters in the state out of Salisbury High and remains in the Top 10 at the No. 9 spot. He took home the Player of the Year award in the Central Carolina Conference as the Hornets finished 22-6 on the season and 11-1 in conference action. He poured in a Rowan County record 818 points (29.2 ppg) in 2022-23 as a junior. He’s down to a final 3 of Wake Forest, Tennessee and Virginia Tech as his commitment date approaches on March 24. He’ll run with Team CP3 on the grassroots scene this season.
