The 6-4 junior wing forward was a force using his skillset and athleticism to finish with a near double-double (14 points and 9 rebounds) in their 51-40 win over Ponte Vedra. Nealy was at his best when he was attacking the basket and finishing around the rim.
The 6-0 senior point guard was the lone member in double figures for Ponte Vedra, as he utilized his scoring in a variety of ways whether it was at the front of the rim or in the mid-range game. He remains as one of the top ranked unsigned guards in the North Florida area.
The 6-5 sophomore guard controlled the offense and pace of the game, whether it was his scoring or getting his other teammates involved. Finishing with a game-high 21 points and 3 rebounds to help lead his team to their second consecutive state title.
The top ranked power forward in the sophomore class was at his usual best, after a quiet first half he finished with a double-double (13 points and 12 rebounds). He was at his best keeping possessions alive and finishing most of his shots around the rim. Boozer went 1-for-2 from beyond the arc, but went 3-of-8 from inside the 3-point line.
The 6-9 senior forward and Georgia commit was scoring in a variety of ways, tying for a team high with 13 points and 6 rebounds in their 50-48 loss to Columbus. He hit a pair of 3-pointers and dished out some key assists throughout the night.
The 6-5 junior combo guard kept his composure and poise throughout the night knocking down some timely shots. Phillips finished with 13 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. His unselfishness and ability to make the right plays was the key heading into the game. He was a true three-level scorer on Saturday night, including going 2-for-5 from beyond the arc.
