The Top Ten Finalists for the Mr. Basketball award have been named and here is the list of names!

[player_tooltip player_id='962198' first='Taison' last='Chatman'] of Totino-Grace. Has had a nice late January and two weeks of February getting him onto this list. Reminds me of Amir Coffey who was injured early in the year and then made the late title run leading to him eventually winning the trophy. Can Taison replicate that? We shall see!

[player_tooltip player_id='1491756' first='Nate' last='Dahl'] of Buffalo. From not on the watch list to not only in the top ten but an outside shot at the final five! Dahl has been incredible in February. Really cool that he earned his way with his incredible play. Has led his team to top five.

[player_tooltip player_id='962210' first='Quyavant' last='Douglas'] of Brooklyn Center. I have been doing this article regularly since 2006 and Douglas in the top ten might be the biggest surprise of all my years of this weekly article. He is scoring 31 points a game and is a great story considering his team's struggles.

[player_tooltip player_id='962212' first='Boden' last='Kapke'] of Holy Family. The Butler signed big has his team number one in state. He has a chance to win the award with a title push. Class AA Player of the Year so far and might be the most dominant force there is in state this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='962246' first='Ben' last='Kopetzki'] of Andover. Ben's spot on this list is something I did not expect at the start of the year but scoring 26 a game he's had Andover as a top ten team most of the year.

[player_tooltip player_id='962199' first='CJ' last='O'Hara'] of Park Center. O'Hara is the leading scorer and the top wing defender on the best team in the state of Minnesota. Scoring 19 a game.

[player_tooltip player_id='962206' first='Max' last='Shikenjanski'] of Stillwater. The future Gopher quarterback is coming off a huge game leading his team over top ten East Ridge. Scoring 27 a night.

[player_tooltip player_id='1167554' first='Hayden' last='Tibbits'] of Wayzata. Likely the player of the month in January, Tibbits has people wondering, should somebody take a shot at him for D1 lead guard?

[player_tooltip player_id='962218' first='Nasir' last='Whitlock'] of DeLaSalle. The Lehigh signed guard has the Islanders at four losses and ranked second in Class AAA. He's likely had more big moments this year than any other payer. Class AAA Player of the Year so far.

[player_tooltip player_id='962214' first='Nolan' last='Winter'] of Lakeville North. The future Badger has come back strong from his injury and has North in position to make a title push.
