Augusta Christian (Martinez, GA) (21-5) – The Lions have been steady all season long with its play. Georgia Southern University signee Luke Wilson Luke Wilson 6'9" | C Augusta Christian | 2023 State GA patrols the middle for the Lions. DJ Shine DJ Shine 6'1" | PG Brewster Academy | 2024 State NLG has been great all season long with his play in Las Vegas at the Tarkanian Classic and at the Bash in Columbia. Shine can really score the ball from all 3 levels on the floor. Khaleel Pratt Khaleel Pratt 6'5" | SF Augusta Christian | 2024 State GA just a junior like Shine is already committed to play baseball in the SEC Conference at the University of Kentucky. The Lions won the SCISA Class 3A State Championship last season by defeating First Baptist.
Keep in mind the Lions play in the SCISA ranks but since the school is located in the State of Georgia – the players are ranked by the Prep Hoops Georgia site.
First Baptist (17-4) – UNSIGNED Senior guard Matty Foor Matty Foor 6'1" | PG First Baptist | 2023 State SC just joined 1,000 career points club. UNSIGNED Senior guard Dove Fishburne Dove Fishburne 5'11" | CG First Baptist | 2023 State SC has the ability to step up for the Hurricanes on a given night. Junior Taye Robinson Taye Robinson 6'4" | SF First Baptist | 2024 State SC and Cooper Kowalski Cooper Kowalski 6'9" | PF First Baptist | 2024 State SC provide some more scoring punch for the for the Hurricanes. Robinson is a sharp-shooter from behind the three-point line while Kowalski brings some bounce around the rim.
Cardinal Newman (16-14) – The Cardinals have played a TOUGH schedule all season long. They have defeated Augusta Christian, First Baptist, Shannon Forest (twice) and Porter Gaud to name just a few this season. The Cardinals have plenty of balance scoring on hand this season. Josiah Peeples Josiah Peeples 6'0" | PG Cardinal Newman | 2024 State SC the way at 12.6 ppg while UNSIGNED Senior Jordan Frazer Jordan Frazer 6'1" | CG Cardinal Newman | 2023 State SC chimes in at 12.4 ppg and 4 rebounds. Junior wing player Evan Carter Evan Carter 6'4" | SF Cardinal Newman | 2024 State SC scores 11.7 ppg and 7.3 rebounds while freshman Elton Smith Jr Elton Smith Jr 6'9" | PF Cardinal Newman | 2026 State SC adds 8.6 ppg and 8.9 rebounds per night. Junior left-handed guard Russ White Russ White 6'2" | PG Greenforest Christian | 2024 GA stuffs the stat sheet at 6.5 ppg, 5.9 rebounds and 3.9 assists a game.
Porter Gaud (18-9) – The Cyclones have been led by Sophomore Robert Moore Robert Moore 6'7" | SG Porter Gaud | 2025 State #232 Nation SC all season long. Moore can score the ball in bunches and has done just that this season at times. Small forward Clyde Mauldin Clyde Mauldin 6'5" | SF Porter Gaud | 2024 State SC will provide some punch along with David Axon.
Pinewood Prep (Summerville) (19-10) – Panthers Head Coach Pat Eidson picked up his 900th career win earlier this season – 911 career wins now. The Panthers always seem to put 20 wins together every year. Junior Michael Vince Michael Vince 6'5" | SG Pinewood Prep | 2024 State SC is leading the way this season at 14.4 ppg while UNSIGNED Post player Thomas Robertson Thomas Robertson 6'6" | PF Pinewood Prep | 2023 State SC comes in at 14.2 ppg, 9 rebounds and 2.2 blocks. Freshman guard Jonathan Slawson Jonathan Slawson 5'11" | PG Pinewood Prep | 2026 State SC sees plenty of action and minutes each night.
