Clyde is a left-handed forward for the Cyclones. He really excels very well in the classroom academically. Mauldin can finish with a short jump hook at times or simply a putback on the glass. He can step-out and knockdown the 3-ball. Clyde always seems to be in position to make a play on the floor.

Imagine the headlines that would be written about this senior standout if he played for the 5A SCHSL team in the upstate. Porter-Gaud’s program is fortunate he is sporting their school’s colors for one more season. In what turned out to be an entertaining contest between his Cyclones and James Island, he paved his team’s path to victory with a 27-point performance. Mauldin is listed at 6-foot-6 on the Cyclones roster and plays primarily at the three or the four. When he played travel ball during the spring and summer months, he wore the uniform of TMP – which later became Charleston Raptors .

Mauldin a left-handed forward showed some good flashes this summer on the Grassroots Circuit with the Charleston Raptors. Clyde carries a very strong academic background really likes to play from the short corner at times. He can knockdown the mid-range jumper or simply be johnny on the spot to make a bucket.
He’s constantly moving towards the ball and always seems to be in position to make an impact.
Clyde will join up with Robert Moore on this Porter Gaud Cyclones roster this season in SCISA Class 4A this season.

Mauldin made good progress this summer on the Grassroots Circuit with the Charleston Raptors. The left-handed Mauldin understands where to be on the floor to make a play. Clyde plays the game with a good mindset and always seems to be quite productive with his shot selection.
Mauldin who has very strong academics is back for the Cyclones to make a run in SCISA Class 4A this season. Clyde seems to still be growing into his frame and plays the game with some sneaky athleticism at times.

Mauldin scored 20 points in an overtime loss to Team Trezz. Clyde was able to connect on some three-pointers and some short jumpers. He was able to manufacture some of his buckets just on being in the right place. The left-handed Mauldin can play inside-out on the floor with his ability to post-up or step-out and knockdown the short jumper.

Clyde is a left-handed forward who can step-out and knockdown shots. Mauldin will look to post up with his back to the basket and go to work at times for the Cyclones. Mauldin will be counted on to provide some scoring punch this year for Head Coach John Pearson and the Cyclones.
