The O'Fallon Shootout is one of the top events of the year in Midwest. Here we breakdown the top prospects from Missouri and Indiana over the weekend!

[player_tooltip player_id='1070086' first='B.J.' last='Ward'] (Chaminade, MO – 2023 – SEMO)

Ward was the go to man for Chaminade against O'Fallon. When they needed a bucket he got it. Strong frame that loves to attack downhill getting to the hoop with force. Can push in transition going coast to coast. Finishes well through contact. Underrated as a shooter as he is much improved knocking down shots from distance. Good passer that makes those around him better putting the ball in position for them to do damage. The SEMO signee had 20 points (8-15 FG) (3-4 3 PT) and 5 assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='1362685' first='Kennard' last='Davis'] (Vashon, MO – 2023 – Southern Illinois)

The SIU commit is one of the more underrated prospects from a national perspective we have seen this year. He has so much versatility as a combo forward who can make plays inside and out. Slashes with force on straight line takes and gets out in transition. Can finish with either hand at the rim. Has a solid jumper including a three and step back two. Plays above the rim. Good defender and rebounder. He had 17 points (7-10 FG) and 10 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='1264291' first='Cameron' last='Stovall'] (Vashon, MO – 2023)

Stovall turned it up a notch in the second half as the key x-factor in their win against Simeon. The combo forward made 15 foot jumpers, took it off the bounce from mid-range, hit a three, and was excellent defensively. Stovall had 13 points (3-5 FG) (1-1 3 PT) (6-7 3 FT). D2 schools should get involved here.

[player_tooltip player_id='1424408' first='Dierre' last='Hill'] (Vashon, MO – 2025)

Hill is a high level football prospect that brings that mentality to the hardwood. Tough and physical point guard that can defend, hits open shots from three, and rebounds well. Hill had 15 points (6-10 FG) (2-3 3 PT), 4 rebounds, and 2 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='868219' first='Xavier' last='Booker'] (Cathedral, IN – 2023 – Michigan State)

Booker lived up to his status as a McDonald's All-American and top 5 prospect nationally against Joliet West. He was a force throwing down several explosive slams, seals for buckets in the high/low game, and was dominant on both ends. His most impressive play was grabbing a defensive rebound, going coast to coast, and throwing it down. Rebounded at a very high level and didn't settle for jumpers like we had seen in the past. He had 20 points (9-18 FG) (1-2 3 PT) and 18 rebounds!

[player_tooltip player_id='868252' first='Jaron' last='Tibbs'] (Cathedral, IN – 2023 – Purdue football)

Tibbs is headed to Purdue for football, but without their other star perimeter player Tibbs stepped up in this one for 22 points (9-17 FG) (2-5 3 PT), 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Broad shouldered wing that finishes with athleticism at the rim and scored well in transition. High flyer that if he would be purely focused on hoops would be a for sure D1 recruit.
