Names to know in the 3A regional tournament

If you thought 2A schools had a lot of talent, 3A schools would have you drooling. There are multiple division 1 prospects in each bracket. We'll break down five prospects going under the radar on their road to a state title. This is the third article in the series highlighting the play of players that pushed their team into the postseason. Here's a link to part 1 and part 2.    Darner made major strides in his sophomore year. He still has the incredible shooting touch he showed in his freshman year and playing with better ball control. Now as a lethal on and off-ball player who scores 13 points per game while making 2.5 threes. He has good bloodlines as a kid whose dad played at Purdue and coached at the Division 1 level. Darne shoots well beyond the college line as a sophomore. He's grown as a distributor over the season.    Miles is an athletic do-everything wing that plays to win. He can knock down three beyond the college arc, guard multiple positions, rebound on both ends, and make plays for others. Some of his best work is done in transition. Whether bringing the ball up the court or running the wings, he can make plays on the break. He can finish above the rim. He can be played as an off-ball slasher in the half-court, come off screens for looks behind the arc, or set up an offense. Miles currently has four Division I offers, with the latest coming from NJIT.    Kimble's evolution from shooting guard to point guard has been remarkable. The athletic 6'1 guard is already built like a division 1 basketball player and is carving up defenses with his passing and penetration. He still gets to the rim at will and naturally draws contact that turns into free throws. The way he controls the game makes him special. He can manipulate defenses and open up holes for teammates where he can find shooters or cutters at any time. He's rounded out this game as a lead guard.    Northside Christian is home to one of the best backcourts in Tampa. Scull is the lead guard that creates for himself and others. He's crafty with the ball in his hands and is always in attack mode. His high IQ opens up scoring opportunities for him in the midrange; because of his shooting, he is dangerous behind the three point line. He's quick, a precise passer, and very competitive. Scull can control the game as a floor general and scorer. He has offers from Curry College and St. Joseph's College of Maine.    Johnson is a 6'7 power forward who looks ready for the next level. He's a bit raw, but his physical tools, effort, and energy Give him everything he needs to be productive. The sophomore finishes above the rim with authority and rebounds outside of his position. He keeps plays alive and scores off putbacks thanks to high-level offensive rebounding.
