Cole Lahti — G — Northwestern
Lahti has had an outstanding season for Northwestern. The guard is averaging 21 points per game on 52 percent shooting from the field. Standing at 6-foot-5, Lahti is a big guard who uses his size to succeed. With the ball in his hands, Lahti is capable of doing it all. Northwestern will host Chetek-Weyerhaeuser on Tuesday night.
Colton Blank — G — Fon Du Lac
Fon Du Lac’s success this season has been a bit of a surprise. I knew that the Cardinals were talented, but I was not expecting them to be this good. A big reason for Fon Du Lac’s success this season has been Blank. The guard is averaging just under ten points per game on the season. His numbers don’t demonstrate his true impact, though. Blank is a gritty, tough prospect on both ends. He provides his team with a lot of energy.
Will Gardner Will Gardner 6'2" | CG Franklin | 2023 State WI — SG — Franklin
I think that Gardner is a sleeper prospect in Wisconsin’s 2023 class. Even though he is an incredible player, Gardner hasn’t gotten enough credit. This season, the shooting guard is scoring 17.5 points and grabbing 7.6 rebounds per game. Franklin will face off against Brookfield Central on Tuesday. Look for Gardner to make a statement while facing one of the state’s premier programs.
Mitchell McCarthy — PF — Campbellsport
McCarthy has done some really impressive things this season. It isn’t often you see a prospect averaging a double-double. But McCarthy is doing it. The power forward is tallying 19.8 points and 13.2 rebounds per game. McCarthy possesses great footwork and touch around the hoop. When he gets the ball in the paint, he is very tough to stop.
Clevon Easton Clevon Easton 6'0" | CG Madison East | 2025 WI — SG — Madison East
After missing some time to start the season, Easton has returned and played really well. The shooting guard is an explosive slasher who can score the ball with ease. He does a great job of using his quick first step to blow by his defender and get to the rim. If Easton is able to develop his game and improve, he will become a star.
Gavyn Hurley Gavyn Hurley 6'4" | CG Middleton | 2023 State WI — SG — Middleton
Hurley has developed into one of the best players in the state, regardless of position, age, or team. The shooting guard truly doesn’t have any weaknesses on the court. He scores, defends, rebounds, passes, and overall is a great teammate. Middleton has gotten off to an 11-0 start this season. Hurley will look to lead his squad to a 12th win on Tuesday.
Quinton Lomack Quinton Lomack 6'1" | CG Madison La Follette | 2024 WI — SG – Madison La Follette
Lomack is one of my favorite prospects to watch in the 2024 class. The combo guard is a smooth scorer in the midrange. When Lomack gets going, he doesn’t miss many shots. He owns good positional size and is very strong. Lomack is scoring 13.6 points per game this season. Madison La Follette will play Verona on Tuesday night.
