Prep Hoops Wisconsin takes a look at ten players who college programs should know:

[player_tooltip player_id='1115915' first='Tyran' last='Cook'] -- SG -- Waukesha South

I have been on Cook's bandwagon for a long time now. The Waukesha South shooting guard possesses athletic ability that you just can't teach. He currently holds Waukesha South's school record in the high jump. On the basketball court, Cook is an incredible scorer. Every time he steps on the court, the shooting guard seems to put up huge numbers. Whichever school lands Cook will be getting a great basketball player.

[player_tooltip player_id='953956' first='Luther' last='Smith'] -- SG -- Sussex Hamilton

Don't look now, but Smith is making a case for himself as this season's Mr. Basketball. The shooting guard is averaging 31 points per game on 54 percent shooting. Smith isn't putting up these numbers against sub-par competition, either. Playing in the Greater Metro Conference, Smith faces top talent every night. The SG recently picked up a scholarship offer from St. Cloud State. More should certainly roll in soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='1022499' first='Bennett' last='Fried'] -- SG -- La Crosse Central

I saw Fried play this past summer a couple of times. Each time I watched him play, Fried impressed in a different way. One game, the shooting guard would display his versatile scoring ability. Then in the next, he would dish out fancy assists and grab rebounds. Overall, Fried has a very versatile game that I am sure will translate to the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1012675' first='Jamiir' last='Allen'] -- PG -- Wisconsin Lutheran

Playing for one of the better teams in the state, Allen has played well this season. The point guard is a prototypical floor general who can get his teammates involved in the offense with ease. He makes difficult passes effortlessly. As a scorer, Allen isn't too shabby. He can knock down outside shots and slither through the lane for layups.

[player_tooltip player_id='951132' first='Braylen' last='Blue'] -- PG -- Madison Memorial

Blue is super talented. The guard has all of the necessary attributes to become a really good player at the next level. Size? Check. Scoring ability? Check. Basketball-IQ? Check. When Blue puts it all together, he is very good. College programs should recruit Blue as soon as possible. At the next level, he has the potential to impact winning in a positive way.

[player_tooltip player_id='1409364' first='Peter' last='Lattos'] -- PF -- West Salem

A strong and physical prospect on the block, Lattos uses his size to his advantage. Around the paint, Lattos is much tougher and more physical than his opponents. He rebounds very well and finishes layups through contact. Lattos is much more than just a bruiser, though. The power forward can also step outside and drain jumpers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1012672' first='Will' last='Starks'] -- SF -- Kenosha Tremper

Starks is one of the better offensive rebounders in the state. The small forward just has a knack for grabbing rebounds after teammates misfire. It doesn't matter what the situation is, Starks is going to hustle and make plays. The Kenosha Tremper standouts is always giving 100 percent effort. At the college level, Starks is capable of making an impact.

[player_tooltip player_id='1200576' first='Mikail' last='Harmison'] -- SF -- Appleton West

Coming off an outstanding summer AAU season, Harmison has continued to play well this high school season. The small forward is scoring 16.9 points per game to go along with 7.5 rebounds. Harmison is a smooth scorer who can get buckets from all three levels. When the Appleton West standout gets going, it often is a long period until he cools down.

[player_tooltip player_id='1397864' first='AJ' last='Uttech'] -- PG -- Columbus Catholic

Uttech is one of the most underrated scorers in the state. The point guard doesn't get enough credit for how good he is. On the perimeter, Uttech can make heavily contested shots. Around the hoop, Uttech is strong and athletic. He can finish through or around contact. Uttech is a name to track closely moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='1519571' first='Devin' last='Davenport'] -- PG -- Milwaukee Lutheran

There aren't many prospects who possess athletic gifts similar to Davenport. The Milwaukee Lutheran point guard can jump out of the gym. In the open floor, Davenport is capable of creating some impressive highlights. With the ball in his hands, the PG is a very good slasher. He uses his bounce and creativity to convert on tough layups.
