Peek At Players Part 2

It was his overall athleticism, his toughness, and his leadership that stood out to me. First of all, Cabana is one of the better pure athletes that I've seen. If he went to a combine, I think he'd be off the charts. Cabana is as tough as they come, both mentally and physically. He was at his best when he was playing an aggressive and attacking style of basketball. When he did that, Koelling was very active under the rim and made gritty plays. He was able to draw contact near the rim and get to the free throw line. Koelling managed to get the ball in the lane and find a way to get it at the basket. There are already u0022best everu0022 whispers around Saline, putting him in line with all time greats like the Haselschwerdt twins, Dan Roughton and Chris Baker. The freshman could very well reach and pass that line. He played a very physical game that was tough to match up with. Davis used his strength to initiate contact, then played off of it. He showed nice strength and touch with a power baseline move and a soft flip in for 2 points. Davis worked the offensive glass and was able to score on a put back.
