Prep Hoops Florida scout Ross Van De Griek was on the grounds of Montverde Academy and here is who stood out on the opening day of the event.
The Cal Baptist University signee led Durango High with a game-high 17 points and 7 rebounds in a 68-50 loss to Riviera Prep. Riley was efficient in the first half recording 10 of his 17 points to go along with three rebounds and two assists.
The 6-1 sophomore combo guard finished with 14 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists in a 68-50 loss to Riviera Prep. Yapi found his shooting touch in the second half after struggling from the field in the first half.
The 6-5 sophomore forward finished with a near triple-double, recording 18 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists in a 68-50 win over Durango. Allen was an efficient 7-of-12 from the field, as well as 3-of-3 from the free throw line.

The 6-0 point guard found his shooting stroke in the second quarter, finishing with 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field and 3-of-5 from beyond the arc.
The 6-7 freshman finished with a game-high 16 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists in last night’s 85-53 loss to Montverde Academy. Constanza was perfect from beyond the arc, finishing 4-of-4 and was just 2-of-6 from inside.
