Terrance Drain | Windermere
The lanky 6’7 post is still finding his way around the game, but he has promising physical tools. His length helps him affect shots, but he’s not strong enough to grab boards like his size would suggest. Windermere already trusts him enough to start him at center. Over the next two seasons, he’ll have to bang with a pair of 6’7 upperclassmen. That’ll be more than enough iron to sharpen the 2025 prospect as he continues to play in one of the toughest districts in the state.
JoJo Philon | Blake
Philon is a bit of a stretch for this list. He has plenty of room to grow as a player, but he’s already garnering division 1 offers as a 6’7 freshman. Insane length, toughness, defensive instincts, and a well-rounded offensive skill set have already made him one of the better prospects in Tampa. Sophomores Josh Lewis, 6’7, and

Nixon is as explosive as any forward in the state’s 2025 class. He’s more of a finisher and energy player at this point in his offensive journey, but the tools are there for future production. At 6’5, he leads his team in rebounding, is the second leading scorer, and plays with an edge.

Wilkerson may be a reach compared to some of the guys on this list but you can’t teach a massive frame, soft hands, and 6’6 size. His body allows him to play a role as a screener and finisher in the paint. He draws contact from defenders because of his size and strength near the rim. He’s light on his feet for someone listed at 270 pounds. At 15 years old, he’s a young 2025 big man prospect with size to work with.

Mayfield won’t be able to fly under the radar much longer. His star-studded teammates won’t allow it. The 6’7 combo forward possesses the size and athleticism to impact the interior while flashing perimeter skills. He’s bouncy and constantly crashes the offensive glass. The 2025 prospect blocks shots, scores above the rim, and has taken a massive leap from freshman year to now. His tools and production point to a much high ceiling.
