The following members of the Class of 2025 elevated their basketball reputation with special January performances.
Highlights
Arnett Hayes Arnett Hayes 6'2" | PG Battle Ground Academy | 2025 State TN scored 39 points Tuesday. Though Stephen Olowoniyi Stephen Olowoniyi 6'7" | PF Webb Bell Buckle | 2023 State TN draws the most defensive attention, Hayes is steers the Webb Buckle car, and clearly scores too. Olowoniyi is a top unsigned forward in the senior class while Arnett is 2.5 years away from high school graduation.
Gunnar Lewis Gunnar Lewis 5'11" | PG C.P.A. | 2025 State TN (C.P.A.) lead the balanced Lions in scoring a few times, an accomplishment for any sophomore, moreso considering the complex nature of C.P.A. offensive sets and ball movement. Lewis projects as a small college point guard. Maybe a Trevecca Nazarene-level. Heady. Physical. Tough-minded. Can shoot or handle or pass.
Noah Major (Friendship Christian) scores in double figures every game. He scored 13 points against a very strong Clarksville Academy team and 14 in a win over Nashville Christian.
As a freshman, one working theory was that the stunningly advanced guard play of Ty Glasper Ty Glasper 6'1" | PG Gatlinburg-Pittman | 2025 State TN caught Gatlinburg-Pittman’s opponents off guard. Welp, how do we now explain his 25.4 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 5.6 apg?!
Towan Siler Towan Siler 5'11" | PG Wilson Central | 2025 State TN (Wilson Central) is a new name to @PrepHoopsTN. As a starting guard for the last place Wildcats, Siler gives a little shooting. A little defending. His game is in its infancy. Still, the agility and fantastic in-game confidence are nice harbingers.
