Taking a look at some of the top performers from this weekend:

[player_tooltip player_id='1142142' first='Jaquan' last='Johnson'] -- PG -- Pius XI

Johnson's excellent start to his junior season continues. In a close win over Franklin on Saturday, the point guard posted 23 points on eight made field goals. I have grown to really love Johnson's game. The PG plays extremely hard on both ends of the court. He is a dangerous slasher who can get to the rim with ease.

[player_tooltip player_id='1138463' first='Demarion' last='Burch'] -- SG -- Milwaukee Hamiliton

Burch's stock has exploded recently. He has become one of the best prospects in the state. In a close loss to Homestead on Saturday at the Terry Porter Classic, Burch tallied 35 points. An athletic scorer who can get buckets in many different ways, Burch is a defender's worst nightmare. College programs need to pay close attention to Burch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1258392' first='Joey' last='LaChapell'] -- PG -- Appleton East

LaChapell is one of the more efficient prospects in the state. The Appleton East point guard simply doesn't take bad shots. He always plays within the flow of the offense and takes what the defense gives him. Even though he doesn't shoot at a high volume, the Appleton East point guard is still capable of putting up big numbers. In a win over Stevens Point, LaChapell scored 27 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1028255' first='Arhman' last='Lewis'] -- PG -- Madison La Follette

Lewis has been a prospect who I have had my eye on for a while now. Even though his team wasn't able to get the victory on Saturday, Lewis still was impressive. The point guard scored 25 points on ten made field goals, including four threes. Already committed to Augustana, look for Lewis to have a great career at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1260947' first='Sam' last='Mickelson'] -- PF -- Madison Memorial

I still think that Mickelson has a chance to develop into one of the better prospects in Wisconsin's 2024 class. The power forward has all of the necessary tools to become a star. In a solid win over Madison La Follette, Mickelson scored 31 points on 12 made field goals. I have been very impressed by the Madison Memorial PF so far this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1289011' first='AJ' last='Lieuwen'] -- PG -- Bay Port

I really liked what I saw from Lieuwen this past AAU season while playing for Team 1848. Now, the point guard has cemented himself as a standout contributor for Bay Port. In a solid win over Appleton North, Lieuwen was able to score an efficent 23 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='953944' first='Milan' last='Momcilovic'] -- SF -- Pewaukee

Another day, another tremendous performance from Pewaukee's Momcilovic. The highly touted small forward has made a habit out of putting up big-time scoring numbers. In a win on Saturday over a very good Oshkosh North squad, the SF scored 30 points. As a frontrunner for Mr. Basketball, expect the Iowa State commit to have a great senior season.
