There were some enticing performances on both sides of every contest, so let’s take a look at who impressed the most on the state’s biggest high school stage:
Winters Grady Winters Grady 6'7" | SF Prolific Prep | 2025 #118 Nation CA-N (2025 Lake Oswego)
It was another dominant performance for Grady on Friday, as the sophomore exploded for 37 points, eight rebounds, one assist, and two steals in a much-needed win over Redmond (WA). Once again, the 6-foot-7 wing’s ability to knock down jump shots from outside paid dividends. Grady buried 4-of-6 threes, while going 13-of-14 from the foul line.
Jahvari Martino Jahvari Martino 6'0" | CG Barlow | 2023 State OR (2023 Barlow)
Martino was spectacular in the Bruins’ win over Grant on Friday morning, knocking down 10 of his 13 field goal attempts on his way to a game high 25 points. The senior guard is quick and shifty with the ball in his hands, and he can also get hot from outside, going 3-for-3 from downtown in this contest. Martino also recorded seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals in a do-it-all effort.
Jalen Atkins Jalen Atkins 6'2" | SG Barlow | 2025 State OR (2025 Barlow)
Atkins played as a facilitator on Friday, tallying a game-high eight assists compared to four made field goals. Still, the sophomore was able to find ways to score, hitting 11-of-12 free throws on his way to 21 points in the win. Atkins also recorded five rebounds in a performance that continued to solidify him as one of the top guards in the state.
Vashon Hardges Vashon Hardges 6'2" | CG Grant | 2024 State OR (2024 Grant)
Hardges led the Generals with 20 points in their tight loss to Barlow, using a wide variety of offensive tools to convert nine field goals, two of which were three-pointers. The junior guard’s notable athleticism came to life on the dribble drive, while his ability to shoot from outside was an added bonus.
Jackson Cooper Jackson Cooper 6'5" | SF Cleveland | 2023 State OR (2023 Cleveland)
Cooper punctuated his tournament almost perfectly, posting a gritty double-double of 22 points, 16 rebounds, and three blocks in a big win over Roosevelt. The senior big is a tremendous on-floor leader and that showed on Friday, as the Warriors outlasted Roosevelt in a PIL-preview matchup. Cooper shot 11-of-15 in the win.
Beya Kim Beya Kim 6'3" | SF Roosevelt | 2023 State OR (2023 Roosevelt)
At 6-foot-4, Kim was a difference-maker inside for the Rough Riders, recording a team-high nine rebounds to go alongside 18 points, two blocks, and two steals. The senior forward used his lethal pull-up game to knock down a variety of mid-range jumpers, while remaining Roosevelt’s most consistent paint presence defensively.
Moroni Seely-Roberts Moroni Seely-Roberts 6'6" | SF Lincoln | 2023 State OR (2023 Lincoln)
On Friday afternoon, it was Moroni’s turn to take over primary scoring duties for Lincoln, as the senior forward recorded a game-high 30 points shooting 9-of-13 from the field. Seely-Roberts’ patience in the paint allowed him to score buckets around Central Catholic’s athleticism while he also buried two threes in an impressive win on Friday.
Malachi Seely-Roberts Malachi Seely-Roberts 6'8" | SF Lincoln | 2023 State OR (2023 Lincoln)
While Moroni was pouring it on as a scorer, Malachi was on triple-double watch against the Rams, tallying 16 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds as the Cardinals made an all-around statement on Friday. Both brothers are typically lethal from outside, as Malachi added four threes to Moroni’s two. At 6-foot-8, Malachi is continually impressive as a ball-handler and facilitator.
Isaac Carr Isaac Carr 6'3" | CG Central Catholic | 2025 State #75 Nation OR (2025 Central Catholic)
As usual, Carr was a steady presence offensively for the Rams, burying five threes on his way to a team-high 23 points. The sophomore was certainly one of the top outside scorers in the field, and Friday was a prime example, as Carr’s deep-range shooting kept the Rams in the game throughout.
