Often times, these are the types of players that can be difference makers in high school basketball and beyond. Here is a look at some of the “Boost Up Ballers” from the last couple of days.
Braylon Socia

When Corunna needed a play, Socia delivered. He had a huge stop on the defensive end very late in the game and grabbed the rebound that sealed the deal. Corunna defeated Lake Fenton 50-47.
Saline needed to get back on the winning track, and once again the freshman delivered. He’s led the Hornets in scoring all 4 games, this time racking 18 on the night. The win evened the team’s record to 2-2.
If you haven’t heard this name yet, you will many more times over. Fleming is a dynamic guard that led his team to a big win. He finished the night with 23 points, 6 steals, and 4 assists.
Warren Lincoln picked up an impressive win against North Farmington. While the Blackwell brothers are big names throughout the state, the way that Rhodes stepped up was key. He led Warren Lincoln in scoring with 17 points. If he can continue that type of performance, Warren Lincoln will be a very tough beat.
Hatchett looks like he’s ready to take his game to another level. His relentless hours in the gym are paying off. He led the way in a win against Forest Hills Central by dropping a game high 27 points.
PCA won an overtime thriller against Plymouth by a score of 67-63. Let’s be honest, Jordan Scott Jordan Scott 6’3″ | PG Plymouth Christian | 2023 State MI was not going to let his team lose that game. He scorched the nets for 42 points in the contest.
Wynn was huge in Livonia Franklin’s victory against South Lyon. He’s tough as nails and pretty dynamic with the ball in his hands. Wynn paced his team with 22 points. This is young man to watch out for the remainder of the season.
Highlights
Man does Muskegon look tough. They have a state championship feel to their team early in the season. Sydnor III is a big part of that. In an ultra impressive win over Rockford, he led his team in scoring. The fact that Sydnor III got it done on both ends of the floor was big.
Highlights
See above statement about this Muskegon squad. Briggs is masterful with the ball in his hands and is the the type of lead guard that will virtually never lose a game. He scored 20+ points on the night.
Robinson is pretty underrated as he can be a real bucket getter for Notre Dame Prep. He was electric in his team’s 66-47 win against Gabriel Richard. Robinson went off notching 25 points in the win.
