Here, I wanted to take a closer look a players ranked 11-30 and see which of these players could jump higher and who could have big seasons for their team.
Shelton has a ton of potential on the court. I think he’s a top player within the class but he’s still improving weekly. He attacks the bucket very efficiently, finishing through traffic nicely. He runs the court well, filling the correct lanes. He’s a leader on the defensive side of the ball, being active with his hands and feet. He could rise in the rankings during the mid way point through the season.
Leyton is a great facilitator on the court, one of the best in the state in my eyes. He sees the court very well, finding his teammates with ease. He can score the ball well too. He’s able to attack the rim nicely, using his speed to blow by his defenders. You don’t want to leave him open either because he will knock it down.
Gage is a very athletic wing who impresses me every time I see him on the court. He showed off his vertical quite a bit during the football season, but continues to show it off by slamming the ball with force. He’s really good at getting to the bucket to either finish at the rim or dish it to his big man, Soren Dalan Soren Dalan 6’10” | C W.F West | 2023 State WA .
Noah is a gritty player on the court. He crashes the boards well, leading to quite a few offensive rebounds. He’s a fantastic shooter from long range, being able to hit the 3 very consistent. He gets to the rim nicely by using his length to get. y defenders. He’s having a great start to his sophomore year at Tenino and I don’t think he’s slowing down.
