Continue ReadingMax Mcneill Max Mcneill 6’2″ | PG Pebblebrook | 2025 State GA led Cumberland Christian to an impressive win over Solid Rock despite giving up a serious size advantage. McNeill was able to score effectively from all 3 levels and finished the game with 26 points. He drew a number of fouls and ended up scoring 11 of his points from the free throw line. He was also very active on the boards, and opened the door for a lot of second-chance points. Max Mcneill Max Mcneill 6’2″ | PG Pebblebrook | 2025 State GA is a volume scorer that should be highly regarded in the 2025 class over the next few years.
Highlights
Tito Majak Tito Majak 6’10” | C Olympus Prep | 2024 GA was a new name that jumped onto my radar this weekend after a 33-point performance against Cumberland Christian. 21 of his points came in the second half and he dominated the game with his size and length. In addition to his scoring, Majak probably finished with 15+ boards. His physical tools give him immense upside but he’s still very raw as a prospect. It’ll be very interesting to see whether Majak returns to the NY Jayhawks in the spring or if he’ll opt for a Georgia team like the Stars or Xpress.
Paideia’s group of talented freshman made a statement on Saturday and ultimately carried Paideia to a win over Kipp. Frank Jackson Frank Jackson 6’4″ | SF Paideia | 2026 State GA stood out the most in my opinion, finishing with 16 points and providing them a ton of productive minutes. Despite typically being the youngest guy on the court, Jackson plays with the confidence and swagger of an upperclassmen. He was very effective as a cutter in Paideia’s half-court sets and ran the floor well in transition. Whether it be within the system or on his own, Frank Jackson Frank Jackson 6’4″ | SF Paideia | 2026 State GA can produce in a number of ways.
Highlights
Kyle Greene Kyle Greene 6’3″ | PG Pace Academy | 2024 State #155 Nation GA was very effective and efficient on Saturday, doing the necessary things to make sure Pace secured the win over Decatur. He finished the game with 18 points, shooting a high percentage from the field. Greene is a big, athletic guard that finishes above the rim and scores in multiple ways. He’s a crafty ball-handler as well and has really improved as a playmaker over the past year or so. Greene has already received several high-major offers and his recruitment doesn’t seem to be winding down anytime soon.
Tim Gaulden
Tim Gaulden
Tim Gaulden was another new name I left the gym with on Saturday after he stepped up big time in a win over Washington. It wasn’t a 30-point performance or highlight plays that landed Gaulden on my standouts list. It was the little things he did on both ends to help his team win the game. He made a number of big plays on defense, turning turnovers into points in transition. Gaulden also shot it well from behind-the-arc and was very effective playing a lot of important minutes. At this point in his career, Gaulden is a great complimentary piece for Creekside and they should be very excited to have him for the next three years.
