Nova was one of the most complete two-way performers I watched all day. The talented combo guard consistently impacted the game on both ends of the floor, but his outside shooting immediately grabbed attention. Whether spotting up in catch-and-shoot situations or creating space off the dribble, he showed confidence and consistency from beyond the arc. His ability to knock down perimeter shots forced defenses to extend, creating additional opportunities for himself and his teammates. Defensively, he was equally impressive. He brought relentless energy on every possession and applied constant pressure to opposing ball-handlers.

Malik is an interior presence who made his mark with his play on the defensive end and on the glass. His size and length were major factors throughout the game, as opponents struggled to combat his physical tools. He is still developing offensively, but his size allows him to finish around the rim effectively. As he continues to expand his low-post scoring arsenal and eventually develops more perimeter skills, Malik will be a prospect worth keeping a close eye on.
