2025 6’2 Max McNeill (Pebblebrook) Out of both Session I & II of the Stellar Hoops Elite 60, Max McNeill had one of the most impressive showings that I saw from any lead guard. McNeill’s comfort with the ball in his hands is best seen through his sharp ball handling ability, as well as the ease in which he knifes through the lane. McNeill got paint touch after paint touch in these weekend’s scrimmages, letting his creativity shine in the process. His ability to create instant offense makes him a tough cover for opponents.

is a 30-piece waiting to happen. He’s one of the best volume scorers in the state and can get it done in a multitude of ways. He’s already got a great feel for the game and how to get to his spots. McNeill isn’t afraid to hit the boards either and has had several 10+ rebound games. Just a sophomore, McNeill has already stepped into a leadership role at Cumberland Christian and has been their heartbeat so far this season. He’ll certainly be one to track in coming years and should be considered one of the top guards in his class.

led Cumberland Christian to an impressive win over Solid Rock despite giving up a serious size advantage. McNeill was able to score effectively from all 3 levels and finished the game with 26 points. He drew a number of fouls and ended up scoring 11 of his points from the free throw line. He was also very active on the boards, and opened the door for a lot of second-chance points.

The athletic guard showed that you don’t always need to score to standout in camp. While McNeill did find points from both the three-point line and inside the arc, I was most impressed with his floor game. He competed on the glass, was a good decision maker as a passer and was a quality defender. He totaled 12 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 block in a win. He has tools to work with moving forward.
