KJ Greene is a big, athletic point guard with a winning pedigree and NBA upside. He’s so fluid with the ball in his hands, has the bounce to finish amongst the trees, and can score it from all three levels. Greene has spent the past few years playing point guard for Coach Sharman White which should tell you a lot about his IQ and preparation for next level.

KJ Greene seems like a shoe-in for this list after leading Pace to a state championship and notching all-state honors as a junior. Greene now begins his senior campaign and after committing to UCF, he’s focused solely on another ring. Greene is a big guard that can fill it up from every level. He shoots the three-ball well, has some sweet touch around the paint, and can finish at the rim using his size and athleticism. In the opencourt, Greene is so fast yet incredibly smooth. Pace Academy’s team this year will play entertaining basketball but still winning basketball, a must-see squad for hoops fans around Atlanta.

The highly touted High Major prospect had some low scoring outputs over the final month of the season but when the Knights needed him most, Greene showcased his ability to score efficiently all while maintaining his prowess as a pass-first playmaker. KJ poured in 19 points on a smooth 9-13 shooting. Greene excelled at slinking his way to the rim while mixing in pull-up jumpers off deft ball handling. Good things happened when Greene initiated the offense. When he hunts his shot, KJ can score from all three levels.

My favorite new player I’ve seen all weekend, Greene did it all for Pace Academy as they knocked local squad Chaminade Julienne from the ranks of the unbeaten. Greene has a good frame and attacks under control. Defensively his long arms and strong upper body make him tough to push off his spots and his quick hands got deflections. A capable shot-maker as well, Greene has a consistent looking jumper. Greene also uses his strength to finish through contact at the rim. A borderline top 100 prospect in most rankings, Greene is a stud and well deserving of the high major offers he holds.
