The 2024 rankings have been updated with the high school season ramping up in the next few weeks. Take a look at the Top 10 in the state of North Carolina’s 2024 class.
Passmore takes over the top position in the 2024 class with some recent departures in the class. He’s seen his stock grow in the state of North Carolina and on a national scale with offers from the likes of Illinois, Kansas, Virginia Tech, Tennessee and some other high-major programs under his belt heading into his junior campaign. He produced 10.3 ppg, 6.0 rpg and 1.8 apg on the 3SSB Circuit with Garner Road this past cycle. He’s an electrifying prospect that can finish with authority at the rim off the bounce and has developed quite the shooting stroke on the perimeter within his skill set of late.
Powell is another national mover whose a familiar face in the Top 10 already and moves into the No. 2 position. He didn’t waste any time with his recruitment, committing to the UNC Tar Heels back in September. He put up 10.0 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 3.2 apg and 1.3 spg on the EYBL Circuit with Team CP3 and 16.1 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 3.2 apg and 2.6 spg at Northwood High as a sophomore in 2021-22. With two years left under his belt, he’s set to show his continued all-around growth on the wing with his length and abilities.

Flowers is a newcomer to the state of North Carolina, clocking in at No. 3 in the 2024 rankings. He’s an intriguing prospect on the wing that can knock down shots on the perimeter and rebound in bunches with his length and athleticism. He’s another name that’s grown nationally entering the state as well with a Final 13 of Oklahoma, Creighton, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Florida State, Arkansas, Louisville, Oregon, Georgetown, Georgia State, Kansas, Alabama and Kentucky that looks to make a name for himself at Combine Academy alongside

Mustaf is another recent import into the state of North Carolina from Maryland, coming in at No. 4 in the 2024 rankings. He’s yet another prospect with some national notoriety after a run to the championship game with New World while also earning the MVP award on the 16U stage on the 3SSB Circuit. Miami, Virginia, Georgetown, Maryland and a number of high-major programs have extended offers his way as he heads to Carmel Christian School in 2022-23. He posted 8.5 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 2.3 apg and 1.3 spg as a sophomore at DeMatha High School in 2021-22 as well.
George is another familiar face to the Top 10, though with some recent additions, he sees his position move to the fifth spot in the 2024 rankings. He’s earned the combo guard label given his development to play without the ball and knock down shots on the perimeter and in the midrange area. After winning back-to-back titles at The Burlington School, George joins a talented Winston-Salem Christian School squad looking to inject his winning nature into the backcourt in 2022-23.
Mohammed remains steady in the Top 10 in the 2024 rankings as he looks poised for a strong junior campaign at Myers Park High. He continues to climb onto the national radar of high-major programs with recent offers from Notre Dame, Ohio State, NC State, Michigan and Georgetown. He’s a length prospect with some versatility as a ballhandler and perimeter threat. Defensively, he’s starting to show off his ability to make a constant impact. He’s due for a strong 2022-23 season.
Harris is an emerging national name that remains steady at No. 7 in the 2024 ranks. It’s not much of a knock on Harris as much as it’s more of a recognition of his ability as a Top 10 talent in the state. He’s reeled in offers from Notre Dame, LSU, Virginia, Wake Forest and Georgetown among others after showing off his ability as a top shooting guard on the 3SSB stage with Team Loaded VA. He produced 23.7 ppg, 7.5 rpg and 3.2 apg as a sophomore in 2021-22 with Salisbury High and looks to do more damage in 2022-23.
Evans is another name that remains steady at No. 8 in the state of North Carolina and stays right on the heels of

as the No. 2 shooting guard in the 2024 class. He’s a lethal perimeter threat that saw his stock grow on the national scene with offers from over 20 Division 1 programs heading into his junior season. He’s a wiry prospect that’s starting to find his way as a downhill threat entering his junior season.
Tchanda remains in the Top 10 of the 2024 rankings as a featured name joining the Winston-Salem Christian School frontcourt. He’ll look to inject his ability to operate inside and out to the fold with some new talent in his wheelhouse to work with in 2022-23. He’ll be a scary sight on the interior alongside

Hagedorn is one of the biggest movers in the 2024 rankings as he sees his ranking move from No. 114 into the Top 10 as he moves into the Combine Academy frontcourt. He’s improved a ton and shown he can step out and knock down the 3-ball as a stretch forward. He’s another name to keep an eye on with this squad in 2022-23 on the national scene.
