Bundalo was the player I left the gym the most excited about. His potential is through the roof. The 6’9 sophomore has it all physically. Wide frame, super long wingspan, and bounce. Had multiple dunks and was very close to throwing down a windmill. His skills are there too. He was shooting over guards from beyond the arc. Good handle. I would like to see him develop more of a game inside so he can be a very good stretch forward but this kid is only a sophomore and was one of the best players I saw at the expo already.

Ballantine is a big body wing that I put down as also a forward because he does most of his offensive damage close to the basket with putbacks and has some great touch floaters. Hit multiple eight feet jumpers. I also put him down as a wing because he moves more like one and guarded smaller players all day and did a good job. I like his versatility.
Rivers has continued to be one of my favorite players and I hope colleges give him a look, he deserves it. Rivers was one of, if not, the bigger kids at the event. This came with advantages and challenges. One of the biggest challenges is he would have to guard smaller players. He did that very well. Used his length to give the quicker guards space but was still able to contest every shot they took with his athletic ability. The advantage that he took for sure was he was dominant whenever he was giving the ball close to the rim. Finishes almost everything download and when teams double he always made the correct kick-out pass.
Payne has some unteachables to him. His wingspan stands out immediately. He is scratching his shins when he runs. His athletic ability is all the way there. My favorite part about his game is he uses all this on the defensive end. He played in a tight game and down the stretch he was always trying to guard the ball handler and he was clamps. They either didn’t get a shot up or the shot was affected, even blocked. Love the pride he took on that end.
Hess’s motor is my favorite part of his game. You know he is going to impact the game in some sort of way. Could be by scoring, rim running, rebounds, and/or the dirty work. He sure enough will make his presence felt. He did the dirty work and rim running in the game I saw. He has high energy and plays with joy. High IQ player.
Kruse is a kid that I keep liking more and more. The last time I saw him play he showcased his three-point shooting ability, at this expo, he impressed me with his ability to get to the rack. Kruse is a very big body and he really used it well. He is like a truck on a basketball court. Tall and big. He also has good elevation when he jumps, so get in his way if you dare.
