This young class features several really good playmakers. In this article, we take a look at the top Floor generals in the class of 2026.
Thomas can best be described as a scorer with point guard abilities. The lefty already has figured out how to get to his spots on the floor and score but he also knows when to set up teammates. He enters the rankings as the #1 PG in the class.
Highlights
Have been really impressed with Stroughter throughout the summer. He’s a power point with good athleticism. Stroughter has shown the ability to finish through contact as well as at the rim.
Coleman is one of the top two way guards in his class. He’s a hard-nosed on ball defender that can dominate the game on both ends. Offensively he posses one of the best mid range games in the city.
Highlights
The question will be if Ceasar is more of a natural 2 or 1. Currently I split the difference, making him a combo. He has a good skill set, showing the ability to make open shots as well as get to the rim and handle.
Highlights
Isbell is a tough lefty that makes plays. He can score the ball off the bounce, and is accurate from outside when left open. He will have an opportunity to get minutes at Silverado, and could be poised for a productive freshmen campaign.
Schweitzer has shown the ability to impact the game on both sides of the ball. He has a strong upper frame, wich prevents bigger guards from posting him up. He’s a shooter, that is good in catch and shoot, but has also started to develop the ability to shoot the ball off the move.
Highlights
Johnson is a quick scoring PG, that is going to be one of the main scorers for Spring Valley’s JV squad this season. He has a grit and toughness to his game that I like, and has shown some advanced finishing ability when in transition.
Lea is part of a terrific trio of young guards for Dpac. A good defender, lay has lateral quickness, and has shown the ability to harrass opposing ballhandlers.
I was really impressed with Vaden’s performance at the Top 250 Expo The PG from Reno, plays with a high IQ, and good speed. I really enjoyed his ability to just make the game easy, by getting the ball out of his hand, showing good vision, and allowing his teammates to be effective.
Carson was good enough to be a 1st team selection at the Grizzlies Classic this summer. He plays with good confidence, and can shoot the ball from outside. His best strength is his speed and wiggle, as he has shown the ability to get paint touches and get to the rim.
Saw Treston Davis Treston Davis 5’6″ | PG Liberty | 2026 State NV at the Top 250 Expo this year, and the PG impressed me. He plays at Liberty, which is quickly becoming point guard high. What I liked most about him was ballhandling ability and shifyness. He has some wiggle, and has shown the ability to protect the ball even when he’s being hounded by pressure.
Martin is another player that I got to see at the Top 250 Expo. He showed the ability to shoot the ball, as well as a high IQ. Although labeled as a point guard, I like how he plays without the ball in his hand, as Martin rarely is caught standing flatfooted.
So happy that I got to see Abricia before the rankings came out. The high IQ pg, is a good shooter, that allows his team to space the floor. He has a terrific ability to rise throughout the season, as he will get an opportunity to see minutes for Legacy this season.
