Bruce Williams | Prep Hoops Scout
Look for Johnson if you can. The PG who runs with the Punishers is one of the fastest players with the ball in his hands from end to end. Keep and eye out for his speed in transition, paint touch ability and playmaking skills.

Was happy to lay eyes on Johnson last weekend during the April Bash. That’s no easy feet considering how fast he is. The Floor General is worth a look for coaches looking for Temp Changing PG’s.

Johnson is a competitive PG with some good physical skills. He has long arms, he’s fast and has good quick twitch ability. The PG is at his best in an uptempo system which allows him to use his speed to get into the lane and score.

Playing a hunch on this one, but Johnson saw valuable varsity time as a freshman at Spring Valley last season. Expect for that experience to pay off this year. He’s a blur with the basketball, and has spent the summer improving his defense and shooting. Look for him to have a big impact this year.

The jitterbug PG looks more and more comfortable after returning from injury. Saw him a couple times during the Spring. He graded out above average with his ball speed, as well as his knack for penetrating and dishing.

Went through some growing pains while swinging from Varsity and JV for Spring Valley. Showed toward the end of the season, that he is a young guard capable, of hitting threes, and defeating backcourt pressure. Was impressed with how he played late in the season, against JV competition, showing that he has Varsity level talent.
