Eunique Rink Eunique Rink 6'9" | C College Achieve | 2024 State NJ | 6’8” | F | Payne Tech 2024
Rink is one of the big man prospects in the state for 2024 and is an athletic defender and explosive shot blocker. He’s skilled at battling on the low block and finishes with soft hands at the rim. He had a breakout sophomore year and is now set to be one of the top forwards in Essex County as a junior. Rink’s top games as a sophomore were 14&11 in a win vs North Bergen and 16&4 in a loss to East Orange. He also had double-doubles in 3 of his last 5. He blocked 80 shots as well. Rink projects as a scholarship forward.
Malcolm Bragg Malcolm Bragg 6'3" | SF Newark Tech | 2025 State NJ | 6’0” | G | Newark Tech 2025
Bragg had a solid freshman year for Tech. He’s adept at scoring inside, can shoot from the outside and showed grit to finish through contact. He’s a tough defender who also hits the glass well for an underclassman. He had a double-double in his first game vs West Side and kept on turning in impressive games throughout his first year. He had 24 in the second contest vs West Side and 22 vs Montclair. He’s got a bright future and will be one of the top players in Essex County for his class.
Jalen Robinson Jalen Robinson 5'10" | PG Columbia | 2023 State NJ | 5’10” | G | Columbia(Maplewood)
Robinson is one of the top returning guards in Essex County. He’s got excellent ball handling skills, is confident to drive at bigger defenders and battles around the rim. He’s also got range to hit shots from deep. He’ll flirt with the 1,000 pt mark as a senior. His top games as a junior were 24 vs Newark Central, 22 vs Newark East Side and 20 vs Immaculate Conception.
Rahmire-Sanon Kelly | 6’1” | G | Newark University 2024
Good with the ball in his hand. Kelly is a smooth guard who finishes strong at the rim. He’s unafraid of contact and can get big men in foul trouble with his ability to play around the basket. Top games as a sophomore were against Newark East Side(13), Central(13, 11) and Seton Hall Prep(10). He’ll see an expanded role as a junior for the Phoenix. Colleges should keep an eye on his next two years.
Shayne Hinton | 5’10” | G | Bloomfield
Hinton received honors from the Essex County newspapers for his play as a junior. A tough on ball defender who creates turnovers and sets his team out in transition up the floor. He also is the architect of the Bengals in the half court. He’s a consistent shooter from beyond the arc and also has a good mid range game. He went for 20 against East Orange and 19 against Passaic Tech. Most of the key contributors graduate, including Uma Kalu(Moravian). Hinton will be the leader as a senior. D3s throughout the region should stop by to check him out.
