The Prep Hoops Ohio Top 250 Expo featured some crazy talent across the board, in this article we’re going to take a look at the five prospects who changed the game the most during the event. These players were shining above the rest of the competition and earned their gamechanger status with dominant performances.
With the event starting at 9 A.M. some players (myself too) might’ve been a little sleepy, not Casenhiser. In the first game of the day there was nobody playing harder on the court as Casenhiser was going all out on both ends. Defensively was where he really shined with high pressure defense due to his quick feet and high effort levels. On the offensive end, Casenhiser was getting busy with the ball in his hands, using his quickness to get to the lane to either finish at the rim or dish to a teammate. Casenhiser’s outside shot was working as well, he made a couple deep 3-pointers in the one full game I caught of him. Casenhiser is projected to be one of the top guards in the federal league next season and has a chance to play his way into a scholarship next spring/summer when Division II and NAIA programs really focus on the 2024 class.
The most explosive guard from the event, Allen had some ridiculous dunks all morning. Some of his craziest plays were alley-oops with his left hand, breakaway slams and blowing by a defender into a slam dunk. Allen was rising above defenders but also played hard on both ends and was one of the most productive players at the event. Based on what I saw on Saturday and the reports coming out of the ‘Last Chance’ event Sunday, Allen needs to be given closer looks by scholarship programs looking for an athletic combo guard in an up-tempo system.
Watters had the 3-point shooting display of the day with probably seven or eight 3-pointers in his final game of the day. Whenever Watters had even just a little bit of space, it was going up and it was going in. Watters also showed a little off the dribble game with pump-fakes after the defense realized he was money from long distance. Watters has been impressive at the Bleacher Republic Fall League and continued to raise his stock after this event as well, look for him to make a splash during the next 2024 rankings update.

Maybe the biggest eye opener of the event for me, Norton looked much improved in a setting that allowed him to create for himself. Norton was showing off his improved off the bounce creation game and made a lot of tough mid-range jumpers. I also thought Norton looked more explosive than I’ve previously seen of him, throwing down a couple easy dunks in the final game of the day. Norton really improved his stock at this event and will debut in our 2023 rankings during the next update after this performance.

The most talented prospect from the event, Bundalo was dominating in all facets of the game. Bundalo had over a dozen dunks throughout the day including a couple posters and a windmill that was really impressive. Bundalo also was blocking everything around the rim and even knocked down a couple 3-pointers. Bundalo is at least a mid-major talent with the upside to go even higher in the next couple years. Bundalo is one of the top prospects in the state from the class of 2025 and looked like it on Saturday.
