Continue ReadingCasmir Chavis Casmir Chavis 6’2″ | PG Park Center | 2024 State #170 Nation MN is a 2024 six-foot-four-inch lead guard from Park Center High School and plays AAU with Grassroots Sizzle. Chavis one of the top 2024 prospects in Minnesota, and arguably the top Prospect at the Top 250 Expo. Chavis is extremely bouncy off the dribble, when in space breezing by defenders he’s like a high jumper ready to take off. His improving vision as a playmaker could help differnate his skill set at his position and his ability to make open jumpers balances out his scoring ability.

Chiang Ring Chiang Ring 6’8″ | C Park Center | 2024 State #276 Nation MN is a 2024 six-foot-eight-inch forward from now Park Center (Formerly Minneapolis South). Ring at times looked like a man amongst boys with his shear difference, but the real difference is the way he moves. Ring is nimble on his feet, has a good enough handle to bring the ball up the court and work players on the perimeter offensively. Defensively Ring is ferocious rim protector who if he doesn’t block your shot will alter your shot attempt to make things for you very difficult. Moving to Park Center this winter should showcase his defensive skills even more as Park Center was one of the stilfiest defenses in 4A last year.
Hudson Vaith Hudson Vaith 6’4″ | SG Lakeville North | 2023 State MN is a 2023 six-foot-five-inch guard from Lakeville North and played AAU with Minnesota Heat. I caught Vaith a couple years ago playing with Minnesota Magic, and instantly witness lead guard potential. Vaith handles the ball well, creates for others, passes crisply, and has enough bounce and strength to finish at the rim.

The name of the game is to be productive and Billy DeMars Billy DeMars 6’4″ | SG Edina | 2025 State MN in his first half stint of this game scored 12 points and had 4 assists (finished with 19 points and 7 assists). DeMars is a six-foot-three-inch 2025 guard from Edina high school and played AAU in 2022 with Gain Elite. DeMars’ ability to knock down catch and shoot 3’s and be a secondary ball handler were impressive. The jump shot is smooth and consistent, and his vision enable him to make not just the right pass, but a basket excuting opportunity pass.

Carter Wilson Carter Wilson 6’1″ | PG Lakeville South | 2024 MN is a 2024 six-foot-once-inch guard from Lakeville South high school. Scoring at least 17 points for Team 12 in this contest, Wilson displayed ability to put the ball in when opportunities presented themselves. Wilson naturally took the point guard position bringing the ball up to initiatate the offense, and in the process faciliaetd 3 assists for himself.
Caleb Ludwig is a 2023 six-foot-five-inch Forward fron Cambridge-Isanti was showing little hesitation on offense. Ludwig looked like the classic Cambridge style player that Coach McDonald pushes, shoot the 3’s and make lay-ups. If a defender sagged on him while he brought the ball up in transition, Ludwig was launching the 3-pointer and had good success. Making 3 3’s incuding a back-to-back time in the 2nd half.

Brayson Boike Brayson Boike 6’8″ | PF Dawson Boyd | 2025 State #326 Nation MN is a 2025 six-foot-six-inch wing from Dawson-Boyd. The sophomore moves so fluid for his size, and has excellent footwork, why he’s already gaining a lot of attention on the football field as a wide receiver and defensive back. In this game the 12 points he scored all seemed within flow, never pressed when not necesary, and on defense bothered offensive players with his length and quickness.
