The SEC is one of the top counties in the Garden State every year as it routinely fields talent that can make an impact at the next level. Arts guard [player_tooltip player_id='850754' first='Spencer' last='Joyner'] committed to Boston University, but the conference is still filled with available talent. Here are the top available 2023 SEC prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id='850762' first='Elijon' last='Nix'], 6'0 PG Arts

Nix is the top available prospect in the SEC and should have a big senior season. The 6'0 guard has a tight handle, which he uses to blow by his defender and is a crafty finisher around the basket. Nix has a good release on his jumper and shoots the ball with confidence from behind the arc. He has great chemistry with Joyner in the backcourt and is a solid on-ball defender. Nix is a talented lead guard prospect who will be leading the Arts' offense throughout the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1013099' first='Jackson' last='Bleeker'], 6'3 SG Seton Hall Prep

Bleeker helped lead the Pirates to the 2022 SEC title and will be looking to repeat this season. The 6'3 lefty has a clean shooting stroke and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Bleeker moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups. He has a nice handle and is an underrated defender. Bleeker is a sharpshooting guard prospect who should torch the nets from distance in 2022-23.

[player_tooltip player_id='902757' first='Jalen' last='Robinson'], 5'10 PG Columbia

Robinson has been running the Cougars' offense since his freshman season and will be one to watch all season in Essex County. The 5'10 guard does not get rattled by on-ball pressure and knows how to get his teammates involved in the halfcourt. Robinson consistently gets into the paint and can finish through contact around the basket. He plays with quick hands on the defensive end and wastes little motion in his jumper. Robinson is a true floor general who will be looking to take Columbia deep into the state tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150465' first='Tavian' last='Pullock'], 6'5 SF Montclair Immaculate

Pullock is in line for a breakout season for the Lions with his ability to make plays at both ends of the floor. The 6'5 wing attacks the basket with a purpose and is a strong finisher around the basket. Pullock knows how to get to his spot on the floor and rises up nicely on his jumper. He is a solid rebounder and has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor. Pullock is a two-way wing prospect who will be making plays for Montclair Immaculate.

[player_tooltip player_id='609754' first='Darrius' last='Phillips'], 6'7 PF Seton Hall Prep

Phillips is one of the top forward prospects in Essex County and should have a big senior season. The 6'7 forward has a strong frame, which he uses to get position down low and explodes off the floor for dunks. Phillips is good in the pick-and-pop game as he sets good screens and can knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. He is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and uses his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end. Phillips is a hard-working forward prospect who will be one to track all season long for Seton Hall Prep.
