T’John Brown – Kimball High School
Reducing his role when transferring to Kimball was no problem because Brown defensive ability is just as strong as his offensive ability. Brown is a two-way player that can guard the opposing team best player then create scoring opportunities for his team. Crafty finisher when attacking the rim.
Connor Newton – Denton Guyer High School
Newton can control the game with his IQ. The quick guard can knock down the long range, and blow by defenders finding the open man. Exciting player to watch that is scrappy. One of the guards that can make his big man better.
JaCovey Campbell – ISchool- Lewisville
Campbell is the perfect example of the saying, “it ain’t the size of the dog in the fire, its the size of the fire in the dog,” leading McKinney along with the studded group to the State Championship. A fast player that puts pressure on the defense to keep him out of the paint. Plays strong for his size, and is poise under pressure.
Orlando Horton Jr – Clear Falls High School
Combine Horton’s quick dribble, speed, and acrobatic moves you get Clear Falls All-Time leading scorer. Horton have the tools to be an efficient guard at the next level. Can control the game with his pace, and throw defenders off with his change of dribble.
Bryce Smith – Barbers Hill High School
The most impressive part of his game is his relentless to win. Plays strong and hard on both ends of the floor. Looking to make the right play for his team, and can blow by defenders with his quick first step.
T.J. Ford Jr. – Ridge Point High School
Junior fun to watch in transition using his moves to get to the rim and finishing. His jumping ability have improved over the summer. Can make decisions in the pick and roll scenario.
Marcus “Kemo” Millender
Kemo is a fearless guard that takes on every challenge. Likes to attack downhill aggressive finishing in the air with contact. The South Alabama commit plays with a chip on his shoulder on the defensive end. Can create space off the dribble to get his shot off.
