Ladontae has really started to fill out his frame and he knows how to use it to his advantage. Felton got into the paint all day long and at will at times.
Boogie loves the weight room, and it tells with his frame already. Felton dropped a few 3-balls along with the way today. He can score the ball from 3-levels on the floor on the offensive end.
Felton is just as effective on the defensive end with a set of quick hands to create problems for opponents.
Highlights
DJ is a table-setter who can drop some floaters in the lane. Harvey was able to knockdown some perimeter shots today.
Harvey always plays the game under control and never seems to push his efforts on the floor. DJ and the Cavaliers will be playing Class 1A this season in the Upstate.
Highlights
Poole will have a new address this season after recently leaving Chesnee HS. Brady and his brother Coyie will both be playing at Broome HS this year.
Brady was able to slash to the basket while maintaining good body control to the rack. He finished through contact with both hands at the rim. Don’t forget Brady can really shoot the rock also from anywhere on the floor.
Jahlil always seems to be around the ball to make plays. Hope is not flashy but before you know it you look up and he is filling up the stat sheet with points, rebounds, assists and steals.
Hope will be counted on heavily this season for the Swamp Foxes and Head Coach Brad Dobbels to lead the way.
Highlights
Musa is a long and rangy guard who plays game at a good pace. He really does a good job of recognizing defenses and getting the ball into the right spots on the floor.
Musa plays the game smart and rarely turns the ball over while in the game. Can the Greer Middle College Blazers make some noise this season in the Upstate?
Highlights
Collins likes to play the game at 94 feet at times. Cayman plays the game with a fearless mindset and attitude. He will look to drop a floater in the lane or stop and pop from the perimeter.
Don’t let his size scare you at all – it sure doesn’t bother him thats for sure.
Highlights
Collins can get on fire with his stroke from behind the arc. Madden showed some good flashes driving to the basket and hitting shots. Madden was able to go old-school at times using the head-fake move (which is a lost art)
Collins will look to have a big season for the Yellow Jackets and Head Coach Tim Whipple after the graduation of Dylan Williams and Juice Kiett.
Elkins a left-handed guard is geared to score the ball at times. Darius has a quick trigger at times from downtown. Darius likes to get up and down the floor and play fast.
Look for him to have a solid season moving forward for the Bulldogs in the Upstate this season.
Travis just keeps on playing the way he has been for the past 5 months. He finishes at the rim with both hands very easily. Stickney makes heady plays and never takes a play-off on either end of the floor.
Travis will defend on the ball and cause chaos that leads to a bucket on the other end. He played up an age group all summer long with the Lowcountry ‘ last=”] Storm on the Grassroots Circuit.
Livingston is TANK on the way to the basket. Syree really likes to get down-hill and cause problems for defenders.
He thrives on a physical game of contact to the bucket. Syree is a bit of a mismatch at times on the floor with his ability to play the game. Livingston plays Quarterback / Free Safety for the Auctioneers football team.
Rose was a pleasant surprise as he came out firing today from downtown. Bryson made 3-4 three pointers to start the day with Prep Hoops in attendance.
Bryson showed good mechanics on his stroke along with shot selection.
Highlights
Jones was able to finish at the rim with both hands today. Rylan connected on a few three pointers to keep defenders honest. He was ready to receive the ball in the pocket and showed to have a good shot release.
