As the high school basketball season quickly approaches, I thought I'd do my first-ever preseason All-Boston team. The three preseason selected teams will be subject to Boston high schools, only.

It's an area that's flooded with basketball talent. The schools around the city boast a ton of talent, too. But, that's a story for another day. Today, we're focusing on strictly Boston and the teams in the area. For the teams, two guards will be featured, two wings, and one big man. Let's take a look at the preseason All-Boston teams. I would encourage you to engage and follow me on Twitter if you have any requests or inquiries. My handle is @alex_walulik.

First Team

G - [player_tooltip player_id='1205491' first='Jayden' last='Ndjigue'] 6'3" Rivers School 2023 - Ndjigue is a hyper-athletic combo guard that has the ability to play and defend multiple positions. He offers excellent versatility on both ends of the floor, and he'll be one of the best players playing in Boston this season.

G - [player_tooltip player_id='1205477' first='Ta'quan' last='Williams'] 6'0" Brimmer and May 2023 - Williams headlines and leads a well-run, stacked Brimmer and May squad. He's an aggressive, physical defender regardless of being listed at 6'0" and he really defends guards well. He's shifty, quick, and has an excellent first step. He's able to score the basketball well, and due to all these traits and abilities, he finds himself on the first-team.

F - [player_tooltip player_id='1081871' first='Bryce' last='Dortch'] 6'8" Brimmer and May 2024 - Dortch has the ability to guard multiple positions and he brings excellent defensive versatility. He's a fluid athlete and he moves really well around the court. He's developing and emerging in the right direction. He'll get looks from top-tier programs, and that combined with his talent level lands him a first-team nod.

F - [player_tooltip player_id='1081817' first='Marvin' last='Musiime-Kamali'] 6'6" Thayer Academy 2023 - Musiime-Kamali is a physical, athletic player that has excellent length. He's an elite athlete, and that athleticism makes him a dangerous scorer and defender. He's an all-around player, and that's why he finds himself amongst the best in Boston.

C - Quinn Nielson 6'10" Brimmer and May 2023 - Nielson is a big man with excellent touch and soft hands. Because of these two skills, and his 6'10" frame, he's a force down low. He anchors a Brimmer and May team that's highly-talented. The role he'll play and the impact he'll have catapult him to a first-team selection.

Second Team

G - [player_tooltip player_id='1081856' first='Anthony' last='Coke'] 6'5" Cathedral High School 2023 - A crafty, creative finisher and playmaker, Coke deserves a spot here because of his pure talent. He's a bouncy, long guard that is really good at being active and making plays either for himself or for others.

G - [player_tooltip player_id='1204834' first='Colby' last='Duggan'] 6'6" Phillips Academy Andover 2023 - Despite having a 6'6" body, Duggan could be viewed more as a shooting guard thanks to his superb 3-point abilities. He has a pitch-perfect stroke and can light it up from deep. He's also very athletic. But, the thing that's best with Duggan is his off-ball movement. He's consistently moving around the court, trying to get to his spots and get open.

F - [player_tooltip player_id='1489265' first='Andrew' last='Alekseyenko'] 6'8" Rivers School 2023 - Alekseyenko is another versatile player that lands on the second-team. For a 6'8" forward, he is incredibly mobile and fluid-moving. He's a lengthy player, but that doesn't stop him from being one-dimensional as he can score in a variety of ways on the basketball court.

F - [player_tooltip player_id='1477890' first='Elijah' last='Kinney'] 6'6" Brimmer and May 2023 - Kinney is an amazing 3-point shooter, one of the best in the region and that's why he's placed on an all-state preseason team. But, he'll bring a lot more to a loaded Brimmer and May team than just jump shooting. He's a developing 3-level scorer and has great length on the defensive end.

C - [player_tooltip player_id='1106073' first='Nahkeem' last='Singleton'] 6'7" Malden Catholic 2024 - Singleton is an undersized big man, but his physicality and strength make him an absolute force and difficult to guard. He's got soft hands and great touch. He's a great back-to-the-basket big that can muscle his way through contact.

Third Team

G - [player_tooltip player_id='1081888' first='Trevor' last='Mullin'] 6'0" St. Sebastian's 2023 - Mullin is pure scorer that is a load to defend. He's an amazing, amazing offensive player. He scores. He passes. He creates off the bounce. There's not a lot on the offensive end of the floor that he can't do. And that's why he'll be selected in the first-team.

G - [player_tooltip player_id='1415956' first='Jack' last='Graham'] 6'4" Milton Academy 2023 - Graham is an excellent shooter with elite range and a great-looking shot. He not only shoots the ball well, but his length and underrated burst allow him to finish through and around contact. He's an all-around pure scorer that finds himself on third-team.

F - [player_tooltip player_id='1477902' first='Chris' last='Rey'] 6'8" Phillips Academy Andover 2023 - Rey is an excellent scorer, and he can do it in many ways. He's a great slasher and he can get to the basket with the handle. Or, he can shoot it from outside off-the-catch and off-the-dribble.

F - Jahmari Hamilton-Brown 6'7" Malden Catholic 2023 - Hamilton-Brown is a physical, aggressive wing that's capable of doing a lot on the basketball court. He's best on the defensive end, where his length and pure athleticism make him an elite rim protector and shot blocker for the position.

C - [player_tooltip player_id='1487325' first='CJ' last='Happy'] 6'8" Milton Academy 2024 - Happy can be a solid defensive anchor, and as he continues to develop and grow, he'll become even better. I expect Happy to draw significant interest from top-tier programs as he does a little bit of everything. For his size, he's extremely skilled and versatile.

As the high school basketball season quickly approaches, I thought I'd do my first-ever preseason All-Boston team. The three preseason selected teams will be subject to Boston high schools, only.
