There was so much talent in the gym on Sunday, that it was extremely difficult to pick our best 10 for our first and second teams. Here is a look at some of the other top performers from the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='1588129' first='Aiden' last='Blackwell'] | 5'8" guard | St. Mary's Ryken

Blackwell has a chance to be a very good point guard in the future. One thing he did very well was competing on defense. Blackwell consistently picked his man up in the backcourt. He also displayed good court vision and passing ability.

[player_tooltip player_id='1489544' first='Alex' last='Blanchard'] | 6'0" guard | Douglas Freeman

We saw Blanchard hold his own at the DMV High Academic showcase against upperclassmen, so it's no surprise he stood out in this setting. A two-way guard out of Richmond, he is a difference-maker on both ends of the floor. Blanchard finds multiple ways to impact the game. He can score when he needs to, but understands how to get others easy looks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1574511' first='Jayden' last='Brown'] | 5'11" guard | St. Anne's Belfield

Brown jumped off the page immediately in the first game set when he blocked a shot at the rim. He is a rangy athlete who plays bigger than his listed size. Brown reads and reacts quickly on the defensive end. He gets in the gaps, records deflections, and gets steals at a relatively high rate.

[player_tooltip player_id='1588121' first='Sean' last='Harvey'] | 6'2" guard | Severn

We may look back in a few years and realize how big of a snub Harvey might have been from the first or second team. Nevertheless, he was certainly one of the better players in the gym on both ends of the floor throughout the day. Harvey shot the ball with confidence. He got to the basket regularly and converted efficiently in traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id='1588134' first='Zyon' last='McGlone'] | 5'7" guard | King's Fork

There is plenty to like about McGlone's potential long-term. Listed at 5-foot-7 but with long limbs and a body that he is still growing into, he is sneaky athletic. McGlone often looked to get to the basket where he showed no fear when finishing. Keep an eye on him in the 757.

[player_tooltip player_id='1588122' first='Mark' last='Stafford Jr']. | 5'9" guard | St. Stephen's & St. Agnes

Stafford Jr. is a promising guard that should develop nicely in the Saints program. He is already fundamentally sound and quick. Stafford is a reliable playmaker on both ends of the floor.
