Josiah Lake Josiah Lake 6'1" | PG Tualatin | 2023 State OR , Tualatin – +19 (from #29 to #10)
Lake has continued to make a quantum leap up in the ratings as he’s slowly become a star on the court. His performance at the 6A state tournament will be remembered for a long time and that momentum carried onto the summer where he was one of the top watched players by coaches on his Team Fly AAU squad. Lake’s senior season will be big as he will now be thrust into a leading role for the defending champs – and he should be more than capable of taking it on.
Jahvari Martino Jahvari Martino 6'0" | CG Barlow | 2023 State OR , Barlow – +16 (from #78 to #62)
Martino was one of the finds late last season as he took on a bigger role with the Bruins after Connor Hills left the team. The 6-foot-1 guard is quick and athletic and can really get after it on the defensive end. He brought plenty of energy to the table playing with Team Fly this past summer and is primed to have an even bigger role this upcoming year.
Evan Otten Evan Otten 6'10" | C Redmond | 2023 State OR , Redmond – +15 (from #65 to #50)
Big men in the state are few and far between and ones with emerging skills like Otten are even harder to find. The 6-foot-9 senior was one of 5A’s top rebounders last year and has been working this summer on building strength and expanding his game on the perimeter. He’s already gotten plenty of recruiting attention including an offer from OIT and now with the graduation of Garrett Osborne, he will be the main man at Redmond.
Garrett Callsen Garrett Callsen 6'6" | PF Stayton | 2023 State OR , Stayton – +11 (from #50 to #39)
Another big man making a leap in the rankings is Callsen. The 6-foot-6 senior has the ability to dominate games down in the paint and can really get after it on the glass on both ends. Double-doubles were the norm for him during the summer playing with ONE Basketball and it certainly wouldn’t be a surprise to see him do the same this upcoming season at Stayton.
Isaiah Crane Isaiah Crane 6'1" | CG Jesuit | 2023 State OR , Jesuit – +6 (from #24 to #18)
Crane burst onto the radar last season as he went from JV player to starting point guard and all-league honoree at Jesuit as a junior. He ran with the Oregon Prospects during the summer where he continued to hone his game on both ends of the court. Crane remains one of the top individual defenders in the state and is a prime candidate for Metro League POY consideration.
Sawyer Wolf Sawyer Wolf 6'3" | SG Tigard | 2023 State OR , Tigard – +5 (from #34 to #29)
One of the shining stars from Oregon with the NW Reign this summer was Wolf, who has worked hard on improving his game going to the hoop to go along with his sharpshooting ability beyond the arc. A high-academic performer, Wolf has garnered plenty of interest at the D-III level and should continue to do so his senior season at Tigard.
