Stay tuned for more players emerging this upcoming season. Here are a few more 2024 players that are a bit of the radar.
6’5 SF Hayden Gribble Hayden Gribble 6'6" | SF Corner Canyon | 2024 State UT || Herriman High School || 2024 ||
Hayden has really transformed his game since he was a freshman. He has put on a lot of muscle that allows him to be physical on both end of the floor. He has also increased his vertical as he has been really fearless on his put-backs and attacking the rim. He seems to be adding more technical work to his game as you can see his footwork has improved as has his shooting. As his game continues to develop you will see all of this improvement on full display this high school season as he handles the 4/5 position, but is truly a three at the next level. Really like his rise and stock rising as he developed a lot this summer.
6’0 PG Mekhi Martin Mekhi Martin 6'2" | PG Layton | 2024 State UT || Layton High School || 2024 ||
Mekhi has been improving his play at a steady pace. His motor has gotten better and his ability to defend has improved as well. Mekhi has really turned into a distributor and he has been working on his creating ability. He has been able to get in the lnes and find the right open player. Look for him to increase his production, especially with his assist this next season.
6’8 SF Rykan Meadows Rykan Meadows 6'9" | C Bingham | 2024 State UT || Bingham High School || 2024 ||
Rykan is a big off the player as he has not really played AAU ball, but he has a slender frame and a long wingspan. He might not see as much varsity time as he might want but he will have time to develop through the next year as he works on his physic. This kid has a solid foundation defensively and he runs the floor well as he is learning how to rim run and exchange ends. Good off the radar prospect that could play at the next level.
6’1 SG Isaac Miller Isaac Miller 6'3" | SG Hillcrest | 2024 State UT || Hillcrest High School || 2024 ||
Isaac has really taken advantage of the time he has seen on the floor at Hillcrest and with the Salt Lake Rebels. He does shoot the ball well in a catch and shoot but he has really improved his rip and go attacks to the basket. He finds different ways to finish through the bigs in the lane. He has a lot of growth in his game left. Could see him land at an NWAC school.
