#6 PHU 6’0 Quentin Meza Quentin Meza 6'0" | PG Cyprus | 2023 State UT || Cyprus High School ||
Quentin Meza Quentin Meza 6'0" | PG Cyprus | 2023 State UT continues to improve as he has really turned into such a well polished player. Not only is he a PG with vision and scoring ability, Quentin has major IQ on both ends of the floor. Quentin has also been one of the top plus minus guards in the class and he has also been shooting the ball at such a high percentage, especially from deep. When you look at the shots he is taking you will be impressed. Quentin has a shot at making a big run in 6A. He is currently being recruited by a handful of D1 schools and he absolutely can play at the D1 level.
#7 PHU 6’7 Bowen Hammer Bowen Hammer 6'8" | CG Fairmont Prep Academy | 2023 CA-S || Snow Canyon High School ||
Bowen is a major stock riser and it is well deserved as he had a fantastic high school season as a junior and he also killed it with the Las Vegas Knicks. Bowen is an ideal wing that can transition from 2 to 3 and hold his own against small forwards. Bowen has an underrated handle and he can create space and with big time positional size. He has been being recruited by a few D1’s but another excellent year can get him on the radar o a few more schools looking to get a hybrid wing.
#8 PHU 6’9 Lyman Simmons Lyman Simmons 6'10" | PF RSL Academy | 2023 State UT || RSL Academy ||
Lyman has been in the Top 10 throughout his high school career here in Utah when it comes to rankings and he had a solid season as he caped it off by helping his team win state in 4A. Lyman is a big that can really hurt teams in the post on either block and he has a really good over the shoulder right handed hook. Powers his way back to the basket as he can backdown defenders as well. He has gotten quicker on making his moves and he is shooting the ball a lot better from deep as well adding a more consistent dimension to his game. Lyman has some D1 looks and offers. He will bolster his recruiting by heading over to RSL Academy for his senior season.
#9 PHU 6’11 Bron Roberts Bron Roberts 6'11" | SF Pleasant Grove | 2023 State UT || Pleasant Grove High School ||
Bron took a break from club ball and he has also made a change as he heads over to Pleasant Grove. He has a unique skill set at 6’11 because he can shoot and he is really a stretch 4 when you really look at hi at the next level. He holds an offer from Stanford. Could be a huge addition at PG if he decides to suit up.
#10 PHU 6’7 Souleymane Barro Souleymane Barro 6'7" | SF Layton Christian | 2023 State UT || Layton Christian Academy ||
Off the radar sleeper out at Layton Christian with this kid as he has that attacking wing game. He has been developing and getting better. He can take bigs off the bounce and get to the rim as they usually can’t stay in-front of him and his quickness and long strides. He can post up smaller guards trying to hold him down as well. This kid has game and he could really surprise people with his high ceiling.
