Simmons made the move down to James Island HS here late this summer. RJ helped Cathedral Academy win a SCISA Class 1A State Championship last season. He was able to drop 44 points in the game vs Clarendon Hall last season.
RJ can create his own shot along with creating for his teammates. He’s a crisp passer that never really looks to force the issue on both ends of the floor. He keeps the ball close to floor and rarely ever turns it over.

last year at Cathedral Academy. Montreal brings a another scoring option to the Trojans roster for Head Coach Brady Schuck. Jenkins feels most comfortable off the ball scoring it fro mthe perimeter.
Jenkins and Simmons look to some nice added pieces to this Trojans roster this season.
Murdock patrolled the paint last season for Cathedral Academy. Kai is an athletic forward who can play-inside-out on the floor for the Warriors. He really does a good job of protecting the rim with his ability alter and challenge shots.
Kowalski is making the trip to downtown Charleston now to play for the hurricanes. Cooper a Stradford HS transfer caught our attention last season at the District 9 Holiday Tourney in Manning.
Cooper is a deceptive athlete who still must finish better through contact. He does a good job of filling the lane in transition and running the floor.
Stickney played up an age group on the Grassroots Circuit all summer and played very well. Travis is a feisty combo guard who can really get the ball to the cup while finishing with both hands. A Future Stock Riser for sure look for him to make some major contributions to this talented Landsharks roster this season.
Templeton is a new addition to the Bengals roster this season. John has been to Oceanside Collegiate and Cathedral Academy in the past. He ran with the Lowcountry Wildcats Home School last season.
Templeton gives the Bengals another viable option around the perimeter.
Grant transferred in from Charleston Math & Science to play for Cougars Head Coach Tony Eady. Onarae packs a big punch for himself at times with his ability to hit open shots on the perimeter. He will look to provide some leadership on this Cougars roster.
Robinson kind of came out of nowhere when we first saw him play late in the season for the Hurricanes. Taye was able to slash to the rack or stalk the baseline at times. The Hurricanes will look to lean on him this season for the some offensive production.
Clyde is a left-handed forward who can step-out and knockdown shots. Mauldin will look to post up with his back to the basket and go to work at times for the Cyclones. Mauldin will be counted on to provide some scoring punch this year for Head Coach John Pearson and the Cyclones.
