Weekly Recruiting Update

There were a few high-profile class of 2023 commitments, a late 2022 Division I commitment, several more offers rolling in, and a handful of visits. Let's dive right in to all of the latest recruiting news.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul><li>[player_tooltip player_id='868219' first='Xavier' last='Booker'] (Cathedral H.S. 2023) cut his list of 30+ scholarship offers to a Top 10 on Monday evening. However, by Saturday afternoon he had already made a decision. The 5-star 6'11" forward made his commitment to the Michigan State Spartans during an interview with ESPN's Paul Biancardi. The 5'11" point guard had just visited the South Bend campus and received his offer on Tuesday.</li><li>6'8" sharpshooter [player_tooltip player_id='1042491' first='Sam' last='Orme'] (Carmel H.S. 2023) announced his commitment to Belmont on Sunday. The floor spacing that he provides at his size should be a perfect fit with the Bruins style of play.</li><li>[player_tooltip player_id='1049171' first='Dylan' last='Moles'] (Greenfield-Central H.S. 2023) committed to Marian on Sunday afternoon. The 6'2" shot-making guard had an excellent summer playing with Kyle Guy Elite Black.</li><li>Also making a Crossroads League pledge this week was 6'3" scoring guard [player_tooltip player_id='1158635' first='Austin' last='Cripe'] (West Noble H.S. 2023) who announced his commitment to Bethel on Monday.</li><li>In the graduating senior class, 6'7" center Antonio Lisenbee (Arsenal Tech H.S. 2022) made a late commitment to Maine on Monday evening. Good to see the high-upside prospect get a Division I opportunity.</li><li>Also in the graduating senior glass, 6'5" wing A.J. Dixon (Merrillville H.S. 2022) announced his commitment to Eastern Florida State College. Very good JUCO program.</li><li>[player_tooltip player_id='868251' first='Jake' last='Davis'] (Cathedral H.S. 2023) continued to add to his growing list of Division I offers. The 6'6" shooter was offered by both Incarnate Word and Navy on Monday.</li><li>On Monday, [player_tooltip player_id='1198964' first='J.J.' last='Morris'] (Argos H.S. 2023) visited Manchester and was offered by the Spartans while on campus.</li><li>6'5" guard [player_tooltip player_id='868240' first='Joey' last='Hart'] (Linton-Stockton H.S. 2023) added two more offers to his massive list of scholarships with Bowling Green and Western Kentucky joining the fray on Monday and Thursday respectively.</li><li>On Tuesday, 6'1" guard [player_tooltip player_id='1297001' first='Chase' last='Barnes'] (Fort Wayne Wayne H.S. 2025) picked up his first two Division I offers from Western Michigan and IUPUI.</li><li>High-scoring guard [player_tooltip player_id='1391283' first='Ahmere' last='Carson'] (Anderson H.S. 2023) added an offer from South Carolina State on Tuesday.</li><li>Stock-rising 6'6" forward [player_tooltip player_id='1410467' first='Alex' last='Romack'] (Westfield H.S. 2023) picked up a Hope offer on Tuesday.</li><li>5-star 6'9" center [player_tooltip player_id='1363488' first='Flory' last='Bidunga'] (Kokomo H.S. 2024) picked up a pair of in-state offers on Wednesday evening with both Indiana and Purdue joining the growing list of suitors.</li><li>6'6" wing [player_tooltip player_id='1275779' first='Kanon' last='Catchings'] (Brownsburg H.S. 2024) was offered by Xavier on Wednesday.</li><li>A pair of incoming freshmen earned their first scholarship offers from Division I programs this week. Before ever playing a high school game, [player_tooltip player_id='1529942' first='Julien' last='Smith'] (Mount Vernon Fortville H.S. 2026) was offered by Jackson State and IUPUI while Steven Reynolds III (South Bend Washington H.S. 2026) also was offered by IUPUI.</li><li>6'8" shooter [player_tooltip player_id='1295381' first='Gavin' last='Wisley'] visited Anderson on Wednesday and was offered by the Ravens while on campus.</li><li>On Thursday afternoon, [player_tooltip player_id='1160716' first='Clay' last='Butler'] (Ben Davis H.S. 2023) received a Division II offer from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri.</li><li>[player_tooltip player_id='868264' first='Drew' last='Cook'] (Northview H.S. 2023) took a visit to Franklin College on Friday.</li></ul> <!-- /wp:list -->
