Mark Zackery Mark Zackery 6'0" | PG Ben Davis | 2025 State #398 Nation IN — PG — Team Teague — 15U
Zackery is one of the fastest, most explosive guards that I have had the chance to watch this season. In the open floor, the guard is a blur. He uses his speed to attack the rim and get layups. On the defensive end of the court, Zackery is very difficult to score on. He has super quick hands and feet, which he uses to create steals. I also liked what I saw from Zackery as a floor general and shooter.
Ja’corey Robinson — F — SSA Elite — 15U
Robinson is an intriguing post prospect to keep an eye on. The 6-foot-4 forward is super athletic. He uses his combination of athleticism and strength to dominate in the paint. He rebounds, finishes through contact, and even showed flashes as a ball handler and passer. If he continues to improve and add new elements to his game, Robinson could be a name for college coaches to know.
Thomas Sims Jr. — G — Team Teague — 15U
Sims is an advanced scorer who has elite touch around the rim. The guard does a great job of using his positional size to post up smaller defenders. Around the rim, I love how Sims is able to finish many different ways with both hands. He can finish through contact or high off the glass. Sims is also a proficient ball handler who uses his handle to shake his defender.
Juan Guerroro Hernandez — SF — Chapman Academy — 15U
Guerroro Hernandez is a long, rangy prospect who uses his size to finish around the rim. While he certainly has areas of his game that will require improvement, the small forward does own a lot of potential. As a slasher, Guerroro Hernandez is very dangerous. He has a super quick first step, which he uses to blow by his defender. At the rim, Guerroro Hernandez uses his length and strength to convert on difficult layups. Keep an eye on this SF moving forward.
Deiontaye Grant — F — 904 Elite — 16U
At the college level, two way wings are a hot commodity. Grant fits this mold — he is the type of prospect that college coaches are looking for. The 6-foot-4 forward is a superb player on both ends of the court. On defense, he is able to guard multiple positions thanks to his physicality. On offense, he is a dangerous slasher who can get downhill and get a bucket with ease.
Shaunassey Hatchett Jr. — F — Capital City Team Work — 15U
Hatchett is a force on the offensive end. With the ball in his hands, the forward is extremely dangerous. On Friday, the forward started off by dominating in the paint. He was unstoppable as a slasher. Using his size, strength, and skill Hatchett was getting buckets at will. Later on, Hatchett started to show off his shooting range. The forward was able to knock down a couple of deep threes.
Devin Ikeda — PF — Iowa Barnstormers — 15U
Ikeda is a prospect who I believe has a lot of potential. The 6-foot-6 forward is very physical on both ends of the court. I love how the PF doesn’t shy away from contact in the paint. In fact, more often than not, Ikeda seeks it out. He is a strong rebounder and finisher around the rim. If Ikeda continues to add elements to his game, he could develop into a top player in Iowa’s 2025 class.
