Kyler Penco Kyler Penco 6'2" | SG Alva | 2023 State OK , 6’3 Guard, OK Impact 4:13
The Alva guard put together a full weekend, as he impressed anytime he was watched. Penco is notable for being a standout shooter from beyond the arc, but he’s more than just a stationary catch and shoot threat. He uses his size well when getting downhill and did damage around the rim as a tough finisher. The Northwestern Oklahoma prospect has real grit to his game, which is shown by the way he plays bigger than his size around the rim. In a Sunday morning opener, Penco finished with 17 points.
Dawson Parker, 6’1 Guard, Next Level Oklahoma 2023
Parker put together an impressive scoring display in a fast paced game Sunday morning. He started it off with multiple three pointers then mixed in solid all around scoring. It was a good sign of things to come this winter, as Parker should team up with his AAU and high school backcourt mate Bradley, to give the Irish a chance to make another Class 5A state tournament run.
Isaac Jones, 5’11 Guard, Buddy Buckets
Full of energy and toughness, the unsigned senior from Northwest Classen plays bigger than his size because of that tenacity and strength. He set the tone by grabbing rebounds or creating turnovers, where he would push the tempo. In those transition opportunities, along with some halfcourt settings he can finish at the rim well for a smaller guard or make plays for his teammates
Garrett Redwine Garrett Redwine 6'1" | CG Tuttle | 2023 State OK , 6’0 Guard, Oklahoma Wolfpack Redwine Sullivan
In a low scoring Sunday morning victory, Redwine scored 11 of his 13 points in the second half for the Wolfpack. As with many smaller town standouts, he shoots it well from the perimeter while also being able to operate in the midrange. With the Tuttle Tigers losing a talented group from the Class of 2022, Redwine should have a very impressive senior season in what looks to be a deep and exciting Class 4A.
Aden Rowe Aden Rowe 6'0" | SG Edmond Memorial | 2023 OK , 6’0 Guard, Oklahoma Wolfpack Redwine Sullivan
Joining Redwine as a key contributor in their victory, Rowe is a versatile player who even though he only scored 8 points made a big impact in the Wolfpack’s victory. He has a strong feel for the game and kept the offense rolling with good passing and got after it on the defensive end. It should be no surprise that a player part of the Edmond Memorial program knows how to play and show up as a key “Glue Guy” role player in a victory.
