[player_tooltip player_id="1297093" first="Michael" last="Cooper"]: Team Teague (IN)

Cooper put on a show from the floor. He started the game with three triples, and got involved with the midrange game later on. He’s a crafty ball handler who can get his teammates involved too. On defense, cooper was solid on he boards and was quick to push the ball up after rebounds. He found multiple assists in transition. He finished with 27 points.

[player_tooltip player_id="1297113" first="Shane" last="Sims"]: Team Teague (IN)

This is a player who really caught my attention late. He finished 2nd on the team with 13 points to beat IHUSTLE Friday night. He played really hard on both ends and fought to make the most of every opportunity possible. His best play came in the closing minutes with a floater over several defenders cutting inside.

[player_tooltip player_id="1385287" first="EJ" last="Breland"]: Grind Family Chicago

I’ve watched this player for quite some time now at several different events. His performance against Sky’s the Limit was the best I’ve seen from him. He displayed tons of quickness for some easy baskets at the beginning. With the game close late, he knocked down two back-to-back shots from behind the arc. Breland led GFC with 18 points in the win.

Justin Bowen Jr: Grind Family Chicago

This is a kid to really look out for in the public league. He used his strength to convert some difficult inside buckets and grab tough rebounds a the beginning. He also drew a foul on the other end off of a massive burst down the floor. Later on, he continued his tough battles on the glass, and fought for some solid points in the paint. Brown slammed one home driving down the paint to secure the win against Sky’s the Limit.

[player_tooltip player_id="1469251" first="Cooper" last="Kavanaugh"]: Grind Family Chicago

Kavanaugh had a terrific shooting performance with five 3-pointers. He hit two from beyond the arc in the opening half, and had two quick ones to begin the 2nd half. He hit a clutch one in the final minutes to extend the lead late.

[player_tooltip player_id="1426129" first="Justin" last="Greer-Sykes"]: Sky’s The Limit (MI)

It took only a half of watching him in Michigan to see the potential in Greer-Sykes. He’s a 6’0” guard with tons of physical tools. His ability to box out and post-up is extraordinary for his position. When it comes to his playmaking, it was on-point. Despite the loss to GFC, he took advantage of every opportunity possible, and kept his team in it late.

Camden Thompson: Hardwood Midwest (MI)

Camden Thompson is a name to watch. He’s got nice size, skill, and athleticism. Thompson put on an all-around performance tonight for Hardwood Midwest. The game was really close early, but once Thompson got hot, everything started to click. His ability to score in the post and through contact was something to watch. His passing and rebounding abilities were also top-notch.

James Young: Hardwood Midwest (MI)

Like Thompson, young put on another strong performance in his game Friday night. He displays a similar skillset as well. Quick getting up the floor, draws fouls, and strong on defense. He scored double-figures in the opening half.

[player_tooltip player_id="1297068" first="Julius" last="Gizzi"]: D1 Indiana

Gizzi showed off an impressive layup package and ball-handling skills while for his size as a guard. A little bigger, he isn’t slow to get to the basket and finish coast-to-coast. Later in the game, he extended his range with a 3-pointer, and got his teammates more involved.

[player_tooltip player_id="1428862" first="TJ" last="Davidson"]: D1 Indiana

[player_tooltip player_id="1428862" first="TJ" last="Davidson"] is a two-way slashing playmaker to look out for in the future. He’s really quick with his feet and found buckets through contact. He led his team in scoring against God’s Gift Friday night with a high motor and a high IQ.
