The July Live Period is here as teams are fitting to take home trophies this Grassroots season. The Atlantic City Jam Fest was filled with talent as players had standouts performances for their teams on day 1. Here are the opening day standouts from the AC Jam Fest.

[player_tooltip player_id="902737" first="Zack" last="Davis"], 6’7 F Peddie (Jersey Force) 2024

Davis had a standout day for the Jersey Force 16U squad as he showed off his ability to affect the offense in a number of different ways. The 6’7 forward shot the ball with confidence from the perimeter as he drilled multiple triples and has a nice release on his jumper. Davis moved well without the ball in his hands and finished nicely around the basket. He fought for rebounds on both ends of the floor and played solid defense. Davis’ ability to stretch the floor is something that will help his stock in a big way.

[player_tooltip player_id="1150271" first="Jordan" last="Summers"], 6’7 PF Bound Brook (NJ Panthers) 2023

Summers had an outstanding day for the NJ Panthers 17U team as he was impressive at both ends of the floor. The 6’7 forward ran the floor hard and was able to finish through traffic. Summers showed off his range as he knocked down four triples in the second game and also put the ball on the floor to get to the rim. He fought for rebounds on both ends of the floor and influenced shots on the defensive end with his length. Summers picked up an offer from Catawaba College today and could see more come his way with more performances like he had on day one.

[player_tooltip player_id="901964" first="Ryan" last="Zan"], 6’7 PF Perkiomen (East Coast Cyclones) 2023

Zan was a force down low for the Cyclones as defenders had little answer for him down low. The 6’7 forward used his body to finish through contact around the basket and showed a nice touch inside. Zan elevated for a couple of big-time slams in transition and was unafraid to let it fly from behind the arc. He made good decisions with the ball in his hands ripped down rebounds at both ends of the floor. Zan’s stock is on the rise and will continue to go up with more games like he had today.

[player_tooltip player_id="1472517" first="Alex" last="Grospe"], 5’7 PG South River (NJ Bulldogs) 2025

Despite being two grade levels below opponents on the other team, Grospe was still able to make plays with the ball in his hands. The 5’7 guard played with poise with the ball in his hands and used his handle to get into the lane. Grospe made good decisions with the ball in his hands and knocked down critical triples down the stretch. He found his teammates in good spots in the half court and pushed the pace in the open floor. Grospe is a true floor general who will be one to watch over the next couple of years.

[player_tooltip player_id="1116063" first="Robert" last="Wright III"], 6’1 PG Neumann Goretti (Team Final) 2024

Wright III was a standout for Team Final as he was in complete control of the offense. The 6’1 guard has a tight handle, which he used to get by his defender and finish around the basket. Wright III made solid passes throughout the game as he was able to find his teammates in good spots in the half court. He was not rattled by on-ball pressure and moved his feet on the defensive end. Wright III is a talented lead guard prospect who should continue to put up big games this July.

Other Prospects to Watch:

[player_tooltip player_id="1217452" first="Kris" last="Mickens"], 6’5 W Fairfax Christian (Team Thrill VA) 2023

[player_tooltip player_id="1123891" first="Laquan" last="Byrd"], 6’1 SG Father Judge (Team Final Red) 2024

[player_tooltip player_id="1460665" first="Jeremy" last="Arnum"], 6’5 SG Gulliver Prep (Ray Allen Triple Threat) 2023

[player_tooltip player_id="1201862" first="Jake" last="Morrison"], 6’4 SG Rossford (Ohio Buckets) 2023

[player_tooltip player_id="1411408" first="Jordan" last="Ghee"], 6’3 CG DePaul Catholic (Marston Elite) 2025
