#1 Isaiah Coleman Isaiah Coleman 6'5" | SF Word of God | 2023 State #59 Nation NC | National Christian
Coleman has secured the top spot in our combo guards rankings after a strong spring with Team Melo on the EYBL Circuit. Coleman averaged 16.4 points per game this spring to go along with 4.8 rebounds per game. Coleman has the ability to get hot in a hurry and is extremely hard to stop when he is on a streak. Look for Coleman to have a strong senior season for National Christian while playing on and off the ball.
#2 Jahnathan Lamothe Jahnathan Lamothe 6'3" | CG St. Frances | 2023 State #204 Nation MD | St. Frances
Lamothe just recently committed to Maryland is the second local DMV prospect to commit to first year Maryland head coach Kevin Willard. Lamothe did not have the greatest high school season at St. Frances but turned that around with a good spring with Team Durant . Lamothe will give you a lot on both ends of the court with the ability to play both guard positions.
#3 Carlton Carrington Carlton Carrington 6'4" | CG St. Frances | 2023 State #84 Nation MD | St. Frances
By the time many of you are reading this article, Carrington is most likely going to be a Pitt Panther. He is expected to announce his decision tomorrow at noon and all signs point to him committing to Jeff Capel and Pittsburgh. Carrington has quietly continued to get better and better which is a reason why multiple high major schools have been on him for quite some time. Carrington should be a reliable scorer at the next level and a guy that can make shots in college right away.
#4 Mike Williams Mike Williams 6'3" | CG Bishop Walsh | 2023 State #141 Nation MD | Bishop Walsh
I am looking forward to seeing Williams play this upcoming weekend at DMV Live as he is now at Bishop Walsh and has done nothing but only help his recruitment since he made the switch. William is a high level scorer that can get the ball in the basket at a high rate. I expect a number of different schools to start zeroing in on him in the coming months.
#5 Jeannot Basima Jeannot Basima 6'3" | CG John Carroll | 2023 State #200 Nation MD | John Carroll
Yale got their guy in Basima. Yale spotted Basima early on and got the 6’3 combo guards commitment earlier this spring. He is a guy that is going to give you a lot of different types of production while on the court as he is willing to do anything to help his team win. Major kudos to Yale for getting the high iq player to commit before June.
